Photo Diary: A lush High Tea at The Home Spring Launch
Sometimes you see decor that makes your heart skip a beat (and leaves you wondering how far away the medics are should you need resuscitation). This scenario happened to me when I attended TheHome Spring Launch yesterday. The Gazebo Wine Garden was the venue for this afternoon high tea and the styling work from Marj Silva (below), Emma Blomfield and the team at TheHome was truly something spectacular.
As you can see here from the photos snapped on the day, creating a Spring vibe for entertaining can go well beyond what appears on the table top. The team from TheHome created some beautiful hanging flower bombs and even added fresh flowers to drinks. Animal ornaments also adorned the table at this afternoon high tea, making the space feel truly lush and inviting! And on a sidenote; how amazing are the turquoise vintage seats below?
It was an added bonus to meet some many amazing folk from TheHome, Red PR and also fellow bloggers on the day (that’s me with Viv from Ish and Chi above). I even met with Neale Whitaker from Belle, who I’ll be doing an interview with in the next few weeks and I had a good chin wag with my sister-from-another-mister Emma from Nest Designs. The icing on the cake, of course, was hitting the lolly bar below (I am going for gold on jelly beans as I type this!).
I have some more gorgeous goodness coming up from TheHome on the blog next week – including some tips from stylist Marj Silva on how to de-clutter for Spring. But as Molly Meldrum would say, do yourself a favour and check out all the latest releases for Spring over on TheHome website – they have spectacular homewares and more at up to 70% off the RRP (score!).
