Turns out I was on the money when I predicted that orange and grey were the undeniable colour couple for Autumn. Get a load of how good they're working together in this room! Enough of that, though; this post is all about the glorious retro furniture pieces that are capturing my attention in this pic.
I’ve made no secret of the fact that I’m smitten with Oz Design; I’ve featured their glorious homewares on the blog before. As Autumn hits, though, it’s all about the furniture. And the better news, dear Creatives: they’re celebrating 35 years in the industry by giving away a divine Chandon armchair!
I’m in love with Urban Couture. There, I said it! Not only is this one-stop destination for interiors and homewares stunning to look at and shop in, but a percentage of profits is donated to the RSPCA. “I think in my past life I may have been a dog myself,” Tom Towhidi - one half of the team behind the brand - tells me.
This week gone by I have to admit that I got out and about a fair bit. From Newtown to Bondi Junction and beyond, I took in many a Sydney Homewares piece - and added a dash of fashion for good measure. Let me know which find is your fave, Creatives!1 | My friend Kevin popped over this week gone by to check out the new digs and brought with him this glorious present from Pentimento in Newtown - a glorious Kobo Candle. The Vetiver and Shaved Vanilla scent is absolute nirvana for the nostrils and I can't put it down. If you're yet to experience Kobo, you don't know what you're missing!
It's no secret that I'm utterly obsessed with colour. I prefer bright decor that screams a little at you as you enter the room. Eye-catching homewares definitely make a statement - and in today's post I'm showcasing 10 of my fave. The Moroccan Ottoman and Chevron Rug you you see above are from Kith & Co (click here to check them out) and below are nine more high-velocity homewares.
Brand new website The Design Keeper showcases unique homewares and fashion pieces with strong design elements and understated elegance. I spoke to Director (and fellow ISCD graduate) Anne-Maree Mammoliti about establishing the store, its ethos and what's coming up for the brand!
