Annie Sloan Paint makes DIY a Breeze!

DIY lovers, prepare to have your mind blown as I introduce you to the new range of Annie Sloan paints. A collection that can go onto metal, wood and fabric (yes, fabric!), along with pretty much any other surface, this release is going to change the way you transform furniture.

Annie Sloan Paints

I attended last week’s media workshop, met Annie and had a go at using the paint myself, and I can assure you it’s all rather marvellous. A velvety consistency, the beauty of this paint is that you can splash it on rather haphazardly and still get a great result, with a finish that looks and feels matte and chalky.

You can apply it directly onto furniture without needing to sand or prime, too, and it dries in about 20 minutes – so getting your DIY on just became a much faster experience.

Above you can see some of the projects Annie has used the paint on, with some stellar results (give me that bath please). It’s not just for furniture either; it goes onto walls and floors as well, giving the same velvety finish after just a few coats!
