As began decorating The Studio recently, it became very apparent that one key element was missing – flowers!
I’m a big believer in florals completing a space. They smell good, they look good, they’re the icing on the decorating cake if you ask me. But sourcing them every week is a first world problem I didn’t want to face. Because driving somewhere to get something is so 1998, don’t you think?
Enter Bloombox Co, a flower delivery service that sees a fresh box of blooms delivered to your door every week, fortnight or month. What makes this arrival so magical is that you never know what’s going to be inside the box. One week it’s roses, cheery blossoms and disbuds, the next it’s jade leaf, lisianthus and alstroemeria (try saying that five times fast).
What you also get in the Bloombox Co delivery is a sheet full of handy hints and tips (because Lord knows flower styling isn’t my forte), including when to water, how to keep your flowers looking fresh and bonus direction on primping up the look of your blooms.
Your ever-changing box of florals starts at $42, and you choose the frequency of the delivery. So it’s a pretty cool concept and it’s designed to suit all budgets.

Wow, this is a really neat idea. Admittedly, I don’t order flowers for my wife as much as I should. But, I know they are a great way to show my appreciation for her. Having flowers delivered every week is a very interesting idea. Do you know if this is catching on?
