Help House Rules’ Michelle Ball End Women’s Cancer

I love Michelle Ball. I met her this year at The Home’s Easter styling challenge (we styled up a storm together) and she was nothing short of warm and giving. Her partner, Steve, starred alongside her on season one of House Rules and gave us some very entertaining TV moments. Now, Michelle is raising money to end women’s cancer and needs our help!

The Weekend to End Women’s Cancer will see Michelle embark on a two-day, 60km walk through the streets of Sydney. It’s an endeavour that Michelle admits will be challenging, but is determined to raise funds to put an end to cancer once and for all.

“My commitment is based on love for my sisters, friends and my mum and dad. Mum, a survivor in breast cancer, and my beautiful dad, who died of brain cancer,” Michelle says. “This is for them all”.

Donating to the cause is easy and can be done online. In association with Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, this is an initiative we can all take part in giving something to. The motto of the campaign is that ‘One weekend can change the world’, which I think is pretty powerful.

“Take a chance with me,” Michelle says.  “We have the opportunity to change thousands of lives, beginning with our own”.

Outside of writing the TLC Interiors blog, Chris is an interior stylist and author. You can also catch him on your TV screens as a designer on Channel 10's Changing Rooms. If you'd like to book a design consult with Chris, you can find out more here
