Support Local and Hit the Etsy Markets this December

Etsy Markets at The Rocks Village Bizarre 1

Now, you know I love a good market; I’ll turn up to just about any one that’s running to try and bag a handmade bargain or crafty piece of art. I also love to support local, which is why I’m so excited that The Rocks Village Bizarre has an added bonus in its festivities this year: Etsy are coming to play, too!

Every Friday night from now until December 19, Etsy Markets will be a part of this annual event, which means you can get your fill of homewares, fashion and other awesome goodies along with the usual fun that’s present at the Village Bizarre.

Laneways and shopfronts will be transformed into a world of magic and mystery from 6.30pm to 10pm each Friday, with food, music and of course – shopping – to immerse yourself in!

The images shown in this post are an idea of some of the cute bibs and bobs you can expect to see at the markets, which I’m definitely planning on hitting for a squiz (and a spend). Leading up to Christmas, I reckon this is a really good opportunity to get behind local sellers and give a gift to a loved one that has a bit of added heart thrown in for free.

The markets are running at The Rocks, Sydney; Corner of George and Atherden Street.

Will you be visiting the markets? Let me know if you’ve been already and what it was like 🙂

I’ve just spent the last hour catching up on your blog and am so happy I came across this post. I checked out Percival Road on Etsy and ended up finding something I’ve been looking for for a while (and of course snapped it up!) so thanks for the nudge in that direction!
