Seawings Seaplan Tour of Dubai

Sitting in my office now, overlooking the train station…

… it kind of pains me to think back to my recent Seawings Seaplane Tour where I overlooked the beauty of Dubai. The birds-eye view I got of the Emirates hardly compares to the birds-eye view I’ve currently got of the early-morning commuters and bad graffiti, but I’m going to keep positive to tell you about one of my amazing Dubai adventures; if I can hold back the tears!

When it comes to things to do in Dubai, you honestly can’t go past the Seawings Seaplane Tour. Sure, I was smitten with the design in their hotels and sure I was taken aback by the beauty of the desert, but viewing Dubai in its entirety by plane and learning a bit about the history of how certain pockets of the city came to be – now that’s an adventure!

The best part was that it didn’t take long to get to the water and take off. Before we knew it, the group of us were in the sky and snapping away (get a load of some of the pics in this post – does water get any more gorgeous than this?).

The seaplane takes you across all the major tourist attractions in Dubai, too. You get to see a panoramic view of everything; the Palm Jumeirah, Burj Khalifa, The World Islands, Burj Al Arab, the city skyline and more. The pilot goes all the way around so that both sides of the plane can take photos, so those of you who like to papp will be in for a real treat.
