Inside The Enchanting Few and Far on Sydney’s South Coast
When I started the blog a year ago, the first store tour I did was Few and Far in Huskisson on Sydney’s South Coast. It was awe-inspiring back then and still is now. I was back down the coast recently and popped in again to take in the beauty of this homewares haven and capture some of their new stock. It was, to state the obvious, all rather spectacular! On with the tour of this enchanting decor destination…
While the store is full of pieces that feel beach-inspired, it would be remiss to call this a coastal store, because it’s so much more than that. Yes, it’s earthy and yes, it does have some unique and one-of-a-kind seaside pieces that made my heart skip a beat. But alongside those gems sat pieces that were very global-traveller, rustic, industrial and eclectic – not to mention pieces that channelled a more upmarket, Hamptons style.
There’s also a really good mix of feminine and masculine pieces in this store. I hate to use those terms (I really mean soft and hard), but this is the best way to describe the gorgeous balance Few and Far has struck with their homewares and furniture. There are florals and delicate, intricate pieces playing well with clean lines and heavier, more rustic gems. The set of drawers you see above is a clear standout (as is the mirror below – very Moroccan inspired).
If you’re ever down the South Coast of Sydney, you really must check out Few and Far. And for those of you who aren’t likely to be in the area, you’ll love checking out their website!
