Must-See Bedding & Art for Kids Rooms from My Little Perfect
In my work, I come across so many brands that stock awesome bedding and art for kids rooms.
Not having children of my own, though, means I have to turn to the blog to share my love and adoration for these businesses. While I do have 9 nieces and nephews in total, my family can only hear so much from me about products they need to buy and websites they simply have to look at for their little ones.
So here I go; showcasing another awesome brand that stocks art for kids rooms, beautiful bedding and more. The biz I speak of is called My Little Perfect. And here’s what makes it so stellar…
My Little Perfect: Bedding and Art for Kids Rooms
Founded by creative superstar Maggie Vaiopoulos, My Little Perfect is all about the sensory experience for little ones. The designs are bold and colourful; executed in a way to get kids thinking and using their imagination.
It was her love of painting and printmaking that led Maggie to start the business, and she says that the goal was, simply, all about making people smile.
“It’s important to smile and make others smile too and that’s one of the aims of my work,” she explains.
The brand is also incredible plugged-in to the surrounding Melbourne market, as Maggie relies on other awesome locals to take part in the production process.
“Every item is proudly designed and made in Melbourne,” she says, “using local artisan businesses and manufacturers”.
Giving Back to the Community
A former primary and secondary school teacher, Maggie is incredibly passionate about children and loves to give back to the community.
My Little Perfect supports the Australian Childhood Foundation; giving 10% of the businesses monthly sales to the ACF. It’s this support that helps ensure that little ones can recover from the trauma caused as a result of abuse and neglect. And I reckon it’s so nice to see a small business make an impact in this way.
The brand also supports the St Kilda Mums Collaborative Project, which re-homes new and pre-loved baby goods and nursery equipment to families in need. The fitted sheets are designed by Maggie, with fabric made by other local brand Frankie & Swiss. It’s a wonderful collaboration that really aims to make a difference.
Cuteness Overload for Kids Rooms
Art for kids rooms is just the start of the product range from My Little Perfect, but it is my favourite collection. Maggie also produces fitted sheets for beds, wraps for babies, soft toys (as seen above) and the most divine stationery. It’s just about enough to tip me over the edge and get me applying for surrogates!
