Blacklist Launching New Products in what’s set to be a Ripper 2016
Aussie brand Blacklist is gearing up for another huge year after their prints dominated the market in 2015. TLC caught up with the crew this week and discovered that there’s big news on the way for these dreamers.
Created for lovers of great design, the Blacklist Store brand has been around for eight years and continues to expand. Their prints have been phenomenally popular since the businesses inception and always manage to adapt to what the market desires, as well as staying completely on-trend.
The duo behind the brand – hubby and wife Nathan and Jaynie Johnson – launched their stationery range at Life Instyle last year and sold out by the end of the trade fair.
Jaynie tells me that both her and Nathan are looking forward to trade fair season this year, and explains that she loves catching up with their stockists, the media and interiors designers.
“I also love catching up with all of our friends who run fabulous companies/brands who exhibit as well,” she says. “It is honestly like a working holiday. We hang out in the day and then head out together at night. It’s the best!”.
With the Blacklist Store range now spanning across prints, greeting cards and stationery like journals and notebooks, you’d think the couple would stop to take a breath. But Jaynie tells me that there’s even more epic releases on the way this year.
“We will be launching a new collection at both Life InStyle events,” she says. “In February, we’ll launch a new collaboration with Australia’s leading homeware destination, which is wild to think. We will continue creating and collaborating with the amazing Seed, and we’ll be launching a new project in August which is really exciting”.
