Nothing makes my heart race more than a good print. In fact, I might even go so far as to say that prints have replaced cushions and candles as my new decor obsession. The latest collection from Blacklist Store, called La Vie Est Belle, was the range that pushed me over the edge.
Not that I’m ready to completely rule out cushions and candles as my number one and two homewares loves, of course. I mean, I still own 39 scented candles and I still have oodles of cushions squashed into the various cupboard in my home. But prints are definitely up there, especially when they’re as effortlessly on-trend as the ones in this post.
Blacklist Store’s New La Vie Est Belle Collection
What I love about prints like these ones from Blacklist is that you can cluster them together to create a stunning gallery-style feature wall, or you can choose just one and make it a statement moment on an otherwise blank canvas. Of course, there are a million display options too, making them a decorative item with endless possibilities (and we all adore options when it comes to decorating our homes, right?).
When I spoke to one half of the husband and wife team behind the brand a few months back, Jaynie Johnson told me that Blacklist “is, and always has been, by dreamers, for dreamers,” adding that the product range – created by her and partner Nathan – is “designed for anyone who loves great design and high quality products”.
That’s a pretty accurate way to describe the brand and the prints in this post. I’m personally head over heels for the monochromatic colour story that’s present in this series. There are some deep blue tones and other colourful pops here and there, but for the most part it’s a black and white story. Add some striking gold foil on top and you have a collection that’s absolutely breathtaking.
The imagery in this new range is mostly coastal-inspired, with scenes of the ocean, trees and other natural elements dominating the collection. What I love most though are the random, unexpected pieces, like the ‘The Future is Now’ print above, which is so visually striking and my fave from the lot.
The new La Vie Est Belle range from Blacklist Store features typographic art prints – printed using various foil printing techniques – as well as new stationery, 25+ new greeting cards, notebooks, diary and lots more.
The team from Blacklist are pumped to see this up and ready for purchase in their online store, and so am I. There is a lot more to be seen in the New Arrivals section of their website, so definitely go have a sticky beak.
