Discover the Best Place to get Botanical Art Prints Online

hamptons style artwork from karibou art co

Today I want to share with you my fave place to buy botanical prints online. And not only do I want to unveil this gorgeous brand to you, but I also wanna give you the chance to win some of their glorious designs. Because, you know, I’m good like that.

Botanical prints have been on the up and up. And seriously, I can see why. Not only did the Botanics interior design trend make real-life greenery huge a few years back, but it also made leaf motifs popular as well.

And not only did leaf motifs become sought after, but florals then became the must have pattern across wallpapers and bedding. Then the art prints followed. And here we are, decorating junkies; brands like Karibou Art Co now produce a slew of breathtaking artworks in botanical designs. I cannot get enough of them and I know that you can’t either!

So let’s take a closer look at some of the amazing botanical art prints from this Aussie brand.

Discover Botanical Art Prints from Karibou Art Co

As you well know, and as I’ve well documented, I’m terrible at keeping real plants alive. That’s one of the reasons I look to brands like Karibou to get a dose of the next best thing: greenery on my walls that won’t die on me a week after I purchase.

Shivaun Barker, the founder and director of the brand, tells me that this is one of the very reasons she started the business; to deliver flora and fauna to customers that’s going to last forever.

“There’s such a trend these days to add a touch of greenery to every space, and while the benefits of real plants are undeniable, we’re not all gifted at keeping them alive,” Shivaun admits. “Hence the popularity of botanical artworks. You get the beauty of nature without the upkeep”.

And thank the Lord above for that, right?

The Choice of Frames Makes this Brand Different

Karibou is a fairly young brand but is already dominating walls across the country. Plant life on walls aside, Shivaun also birthed the biz because she struggled to find art for her own walls that really left an impression on her.

“I decided to create an artwork range a few years ago because I could never find exactly what I was after for myself, and the idea has just grown from there,” she explains.

What makes this art biz different from the others is the choice of size and frame options available. The stress of finding a frame to fit your ordered artwork is a thing of the past with Karibou.

At the time of purchase you choose your fave print and size, and then order it in your fave frame finish. And with eight frame options to choose from, the print ends up feeling super personalised.

And on the plus side, you don’t have to go on a mission to IKEA to find an appropriate frame 😉

“The brand has a tonne of other pieces in categories that range from abstract to animals, beach scenes to graphic monochrome moments. There’s such a huge range on offer and I’m certain you’ll be gushing over a stack of them”.

Hamptons Lovers, they got you Covered too!

I’ve been working with more and more clients lately who want to evoke a modern Hamptons feel at home (see what the modern version of the classic style looks like here). And what’s amazing about Karibou is that they have Hamptons prints absolutely nailed.

“Karibou makes it a priority to provide artworks with wide appeal,” Shivaun tells me. “Our Breakwater Collection is a case in point. These gorgeous corals have such a classic Hamptons feel, and by offering them in five colours we hope everyone can find the perfect option for their home”.

Something tells me you’ll be all over this style of art, because the Hamptons vibe is showing no signs of slowing down and everyone’s eager to interpret the traditional style in new ways.

It’s not just Botanical Prints Either – there’s Loads on Offer!

While the botanical prints online from Karibou are hands-down my fave style from their website, don’t be thinking that this is the only style of art they produce.

The brand has a tonne of other pieces in categories that range from abstract to animals, beach scenes to graphic monochrome moments. There’s such a huge range on offer and I’m certain you’ll be gushing over a stack of them.

When it comes to Shivaun’s personal fave, she can’t go past the combo of pink and green.

“The Rothbury Collection is a personal favourite of mine. The colour combination of sage green and pale pink gets me every time. I have a softness for natives and these Proteas have such a timeless feel”.

If you’re keen to get your hands on some of Karibou’s stunning Botanical Prints, you’re in luck, because I’m giving away two framed artworks away in the competition below!

I’m in love with the Audrey Series, Audrey IV’s soft sensual beauty makes me want to rub my face in its petals but the divine symmetry of Audrey II is mesmerising. Audrey I encompasses my other passion, the ocean, with its tilt to floral coral. Hard to choose a favourite I adore Monteverde I because I too can’t keep anything green, green for long but it’s colour I crave so Audrey II gets my vote.

Wow what a fabulous website….they are incredible. One of my favourites is Monteverde 1. After a long, dry and hot summer where everything turned brown around our property, the dark, mysterious and lush nature of the green in this picture would make it feel like the tropics all year round in my living space. Stunning.

One Story’s Not Enough XLV. Looking at this print with its transparent flowers grouped together, symbolises to me, we all have a story that may be happy or sad, and if we allow others to see or know these, our transparency and openness, is what makes us all beautiful.
