WallStudio - New Canvas Art

The African trend isn’t going anywhere…

Which is great news considering I’m such a big fan of it. But what is worth noting about this interior style is that it’s not all about dark woods, moody blues and black and white accents – despite that colour story being splashed across the decor we’re seeing in stores of late.

There’s a far softer and (dare I say it) slightly more feminine way to bring the tribal look into your home if you’re eager to introduce it without going to the dark side. The art in today’s post is a perfect illustration of how you can do it, actually. So let’s take a look at what it’s all about.

New WallStudio Art New Art from Wall Studio New Wall Art - WallStudio

The art in today’s post a brand new range from WallStudio – who I’ve featured on the blog before and lost my marbles over several times in the past.

I’ve always said that canvas art is one of the most affordable ways to make an impact in a room and these pieces from WallStudio also feel on-trend without dating too quickly. There’s a timelessness at play here, don’t you think? And I could see these working in a number of interior schemes (Scandi, coastal, kids spaces and more).

This particular collection, featuring hand-drawn Duiker and Impala Antelope motifs, brings a bit of colonial style to your walls but does so with splashes of contemporary colour. I love that the works feature muted mint, dusty pink, soft blue and pale peach tones. It’s a fresh and subtle take on African art and I am loving every bit of it.

Click here to hit the WallStudio website and check out the range, which lands Feb 26!

I love the versatility of the wall studio prints you have featured in the blog. The colours, the lines and the simplicity of the print makes them workable in a number of spaces… So you could easily mix them up in different rooms when re-decorating. I have a coastal inspired house decor with alof of Blues and pastels…. These 2 guys would feel right at home

I love the freshness and vibrancy of the prints. They’re totally on trend but totally unique to the artist at the same time. I need something like these on my walls!

I love the intricacy of the print, you truly see the beauty and mystique of these animals! The splash of colour adds a touch of quirk to an already beautiful illustration. It is simple enough to suit any décor, especially the Scandi look that I am into at the moment 🙂

I just LOVE the simplicity of the black and white. But then the added unexpected pop of colour adds another dimension without being over the top.

The crisp white, simplicity in the pictures and the splash of colour would work with any colour scheme. Love them

  • There is a certain logic to this art work which provides an on trend style fit for any wall or colour palette. The depth and detail featuring a splash of colour in this art work is what makes it simply flawless. JG X

Beautiful simplicity combined with stunning illustrations of African wildlife. I love the modern style that displays these animals in a tranquil and quiet state. They look still and content. Another side of the African wildlife.

The soft hues of pastel highlight and add vibrancy, life and an innocence to the these otherwise mystical and brooding creatures making these pieces more approachable, versatile and broadening the spectrum of their audience.

  • I love this clean look, a minimalist print
With a pop of colour, not too much, just a hint.
The deer is so elegant, magnificent, on guard
It matches most styles, without trying too hard!

I love love love the subtle pops of pastel colour which transform the prints from just being just another black and white print (not that there is anything wrong with that, there are just many out there!) to being absolute standout pieces!
