Eco-Friendly Kids Decor that’s so Cute it Hurts
Baby rooms are the new it space in interiors. You heard it here first. And when it comes to decking out your nursery in stunning decor that feels just as good at it looks, you can’t beat the brand I’m showcasing for you in today’s post.
I’m getting cluckier as I age. If I see one more amazing kids room or nursery online, I’m certain that I’m going to start Googling like mad to find me a surrogate. It’s likely I may soon buy a crib for a baby that I don’t yet have. It’s that serious.
There’s just something so charming about a well-styled kids room that reels me in every time. But as I’m sure all parents are aware, the space needs to feel as good as it looks, which is why the materials in this zone are so important to get right.
Kids Room Decor from Cream Empire
The Aussie brand I want to introduce you to today is Cream Empire. It’s a Melbourne-based biz that’s focused on producing eco-friendly decor for kids rooms and nurseries.
Founded by creative mum Carolina Leyton, the brand began what her bubba Javier was just seven months old. After what felt like an eternity of traipsing through stores and not finding the natural and pure products she was after, Carolina decided to create her own collection.
Working out of her kitchen with nothing more than a sewing machine and determination, Carolina didn’t take long to expand her gorgeous collection into the one you see now in her online store.
The Cream Empire range includes nursery and toddler bed linen, clothing and prints, swaddles for your little ones, and the most amazing alpaca blankets (as seen above and below in this post). And as I’m sure you’ll agree, they’re so cute it hurts!
Sustainable and Stylish
What makes this brand so special is the focus on using only sustainable fibres such as bamboo, alpaca and organic cotton for each of their products.
Each and every product is made with love and still designed in Carolina’s studio, with all pieces ethically created by artisans from around the globe.
I love me a start-up story. But this one is extra charming because it’s infused the heart and soul of a mum who wanted the best for her little one. You can see it woven through the entire range. But the alpaca blankets in this post are by far my fave of the lot.
What’s your must-have from the Cream Empire collection? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
