I’ve been a big fan of Danish design for years now, and couldn’t be more delighted to discover a fresh new brand landing on Australian shores. If you’re a bit fond of this aesthetic too, prepare to lose your mind as we take a closer look at this some of their dreamy releases.
Danish Design by Norr Design
Norr Design has just launched Down Under and is the local distributor for a range of gorgeous furniture and decor from the best overseas designers around.
The talented Creative whose work I want to introduce you to today is the lovely Kristina Dam. Trained in architecture and graphic design, her work features the type of Scandi simplicity and minimalistic clean lines that I live for.
Merging art and interiors across her diverse work – illustration, photography, sculptures and furniture – Kristina’s latest collection, which you see here, has been met with nothing but praise across Europe and the US. Norr Designs premiered it at the recent Life Instyle trade show in Sydney and it was met with similar applause.
What I love about this collection is that it’s tapping into so many interiors trends that are big and that have been forecasted to be big in the year ahead.

The Botanics trend, which I’ve written about before on the blog, is very much at play in the artworks you see above. They’re so moody and would really bring a sense of eerie edge to a room.
The Everyday Opulence trend, which is going to be big in 2016, is also being channeled in the divine marble side tables you see above too. While we’ve been rocking marble in homes for years now, coloured marble is coming through as the go-to trend for the next few seasons.
One of the other trends I wrote about recently on the blog was called Minimal Zen, which a lot of the Kristina Dam furniture pieces would fit nicely into as well.
All in all, I’ve fallen head over heels for every piece I’ve showcased in today’s post and need to bag the lot for my own home ASAP if not sooner.
Prices for the collection range from $89.00 to $2,450 RRP inc GST and the product will be available in Australia in May 2016.
