This Week’s Top Design and Decor Finds, May 19

After yesterday’s article on hideous decor you need to ban from your home (see that here), it’s nice to get back to the good stuff. And boy is this week’s design and decor post filled amazing decorator goodness. Not only from fresh brands, but from long-standing local businesses you may not have come across yet.

The first wow moment of the week came courtesy of Villa Salise. The image above comes from them and is packed with pieces from their two signature collections.

The brand is wonderfully bohemian, with tribal and coastal influences. They stock a beautiful range of cushions that are packed with interest. From leather to suede to hide, the materials are amazing and the website is well worth a look.

Below are the rest of my fave design and decor finds from the week. I hope you enjoy them!

The Sackville Bedhead

I love me a good bedhead, and boy has the market been delivering them in spades the last year or so. The one above is a fave of mine from Heatherley Design. It’s called Sackville and you can see more of it here.

Ocean Vibes Art

I’m so utterly obsessed with affordable wall art since moving into my new home. There are just so many blank walls to fill. I have my eye on this Waiting Game piece from Wall Style. Isn’t it a beauty? If I could have those floors in my home that would also be much appreciated please!

Easy Peel Wallpaper

I discovered Luxe Walls this week; an Aussie brand producing awesome (and easy to apply) wallpaper. Their concept is all about peel-on, peel-off wallpaper designs that won’t ruin your walls, and their range is full of endless options to jazz up your space. I love the one above. Isn’t it divine!?

stix and flora jupiter vase

The Jupiter Vase

I’ve been a big fan of local brand Stix and Flora for ages now. Their latest release, the Jupiter Vase (pictured above) is truly divine. Each leaf in the design is individually cut and polished, and the glass beaker your florals sit in is also included. I’m head over heels!

the grace files motherhood kindness kit with journals and soft bear toy

Motherhood Goodness Kit

I reckon being a new mum is tough work. And I reckon the pack above from The Grace Files is a gorgeous gift idea to make the process a little easier. It includes two journals, a soft teddy bear and a muslin wrap. The colour story here is so subdued and dreamy. Any new mum would be beside herself to get this.

black steel and wooden clothes hanger from handkrafted

Gorgeous Garment Rack

Thankfully I’ve never lived without built-in wardrobes. But after seeing the stunner above from Hunt Furniture, I’m beginning to wish I did. Loving the Tasmanian oak and powder-coated steel in this product. If you’re loving the look of it too, you can find out more about it here.

What design and decor finds have you come across this week? I’d love to hear about them in the comments below. Did you bag a bargain?
