This Week’s Top Design and Decor Finds, March 31

Many moons ago on the blog I used to share my weekly roundup of divine decor finds. It was a curation of awesome things I’d discovered in-stores and online, or even an artistic moment that caught my eye (like graffiti, because I adore graffiti).

Long-time readers will remember this weekly segment was called Creative Finds. Well, I’m finally reviving this old column under the new title Design and Decor Finds.

I truly miss sharing the amazing decor and furniture I come across as I prepare my blog posts each week. Even in my interior styling work, I’m constantly inundated with new products to potentially put in client homes. So I figure it’s about time I start sharing the design love again, don’t you?!

So here we go; a curation of my top Design and Decor Finds (one for every day of the week!).

This Week’s Top Design and Decor Finds

white cat mug with cat face and whiskers from loves me kitty

1. Cute Cat Mugs

I’ve just discovered a new online store called Loves Me Kitty, which has my inner crazy cat lady going into overdrive. My fave product from the store, which I’m actually going to order, is this white Cat Whiskers Mug. It costs under $20 and is going to please my two felines to no end once it arrives. Not that I’d let them drink out of it. That would be weird. Wouldn’t it?

kmart dinnerware in black and gold with brass cross trivey

2. Dirt-Cheap Dinnerware

Ugh, can Kmart seriously stop pumping out stunning dinnerware that’s so flamin’ cheap? The brass trivet you see in the setting above is only $5. Yes, five bucks! I’m in shock an awe over what they’re producing lately. I want it all, I want it now, and nobody had better get in my way.

endless candles wanderlust candles in musk and vanilla scent on wooden tray with roses

3. Candle Love

Everyone knows I’m obsessed with candles. As this post documented, I have 39 scented varieties in my home at last count. I am yet to take a whiff of these ones from Endless Candles, but the packaging alone is giving me heart palpitations. On a sidenote, how amazing is the flatlay styling and photography here?

Odette Footstool from Brosa in teal and brass with tufted maroon wingback armchair

4. Fab Footstool

If you were smitten with the luxe-looking dinnerware from Kmart above, then you’ll probably want to snap up this Odette footstool. It’s from Brosa, comes in 20 different coloured fabrics, and it’s channeling a luxe vibe I’m currently hooked on. I’m so smitten with the brass base on this bad boy. Let me at it.

carla dinnage black and white clay crosses with gold detailing on timber clad wall

5. Crosses for Days

I’m not a religious person but even I want to get my hands on one of these cool crosses from Aussie talent Carla Dinnage. Working from her home studio in Melbourne, Carla’s creations fly out the door and her product range is ever-changing. Explore what’s currently up for grabs over on her website.

6. Cushion Crushing

Oh West Elm, you continue to woo me. Let’s run away and elope already. As if my crush wasn’t strong enough for this brand, they’ve now gone and dropped new cushions like the ones above in rich Autumnal shades. Rich red tones are on-trend at the moment (read more about that here), so with these cushions you’re definitely onto a winner.

7. The OMG Console of my Dreams

I have done a lot of work with Globewest in the interior styling side of the TLC biz, and their furniture always wows me. It’s my go-to when working with clients and you can see why; just get a load of that awesome Vito Console above. The bad news is that Globewest doesn’t sell direct to the public, but if you want to work with me on a room makeover at your place, drop me a line and I can get you access to their stock.
