You need to see this new Collection of Floral Art Prints

Floral art prints are a phenomenal way to tap into the romance trend that’s big in interiors right now. But outside of jumping on the trend, they’re a fab way to bring the outdoors in and add softness to your space.

The floral beauties I want to show you today are nothing short of breathtaking. They’re just a few in the range from local brand The Pretty Addicted. And they’re so good I know you’ll wanna get your hands on some. So, of course, I asked the delightful lady behind the brand, Joey, if we could give some away. And she was kind enough to say yes!

But before we get into the competition deets, let’s take a look at some of the floral art prints from this gorgeous Aussie biz. And let’s also have a chat with Joey about the inspiration behind the designs. Because as you’ll see, they’re pretty awe-inspiring.

Floral Art Prints: So On-Trend Right Now

As I said above, the romance trend has been a big one the past year or so. It’s a moody look for your home and you can find out more about it here. But it’s safe to say, floral art prints are a staple in this trend, and I’m loving every bit of it.

For Joey, the inspiration for these new floral art designs was less trend-focussed and more nature-driven.

“I have always loved flowers. I think they are quite magical – the sheer variety of colours, varieties and perfumes – each one beautiful in its own intricate way,” Joey tells me. “Mother Nature sure does know how to put on a show”.

A recent trip to the Toowoomba Flower show also helped cement Joey’s decision to focus on florals. And coming into winter, Joey has opted to move toward a darker, moodier colour palette too. The shades will play nicely alongside all of the jewel-toned furniture we’re seeing in stores of late (and who can say no to a jewel-toned velvet piece of furniture?).

“Prints of flowers last pretty much a lifetime, no water or attention required. You get to enjoy the beauty minus the stress”.

Flowers on Walls: Ideal for Black-Thumbs!

Readers of the blog will know all too well that I’m the worst with plants. I almost killed my fiddle leaf fig. I managed to off my Mother-in-Law’s Tongue in record time. Nothing green tends to last long in my home. That’s why I love the idea of floral artworks. You get the flowers without the impending doom of them dying. It’s a win-win.

Joey, thankfully, admits to not being great with flowers either, which is another reason she opted to created artworks featuring them.

“I went through a phase when I thought I would love to be a florist – surrounded all day by blooms in every colour,” Joey explains. “Alas, I am a serial plant killer and came to the sad realisation this may not be the wisest path to pursue. Prints of flowers last pretty much a lifetime, no water or attention required. You get to enjoy the beauty minus the stress”.

Beautiful flowers immortalised forever on paper is the perfect solution for us black thumbs. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that those of you who adore fresh blooms will also be a fan of these floral art prints.

Digital Downloads are on the Way

Joey tells me that the feedback for these floral art prints has been beyond positive – even from overseas fans. It’s what sparked her to look into digital downloads for people who didn’t want to pay for postage.

The idea is that overseas floral lovers can pay for the digital image and then have it printed themselves. It’s as easy as hitting your local printer or printing the artwork at home yourself. It’s a great way for long-distance lovers to enjoy some of Joey’s designs, without having to fork out for postage or wait for the postie to swing by.

Digital downloads from The Pretty Addicted are coming soon, so keep an eye on Joey’s Instagram page to stay updated. If you’re in Australia, you get to enjoy free shipping on all pieces. You lucky thing!

Dahlia is my favourite print. It’s simple but stunning. The blank white of the background makes the pink flower pop out of the artwork. Love it!

    Ethereal Peonies
First because I love peonies and would love to have them all ear round and this would be a wonderful way to.
Peonies have such a wonderful romantic, soft and whimsical look to them that just tugs at my heart strings and inner ‘happily ever after’. Ethereal Peonies just embodies all of that and would give me warm fuzzies all year round

I love that divine Magnolia Milk – romantic enough for the bedroom, neutral enough not to clash with our muted palette. The depth of that print is what makes it. They are all absolutely beautiful though. Thanks for offering this wonderful giveaway Chris and good luck to Joey in growing her business!

Goodness Gracious Chris, with so many delicious floral prints to choose from, I can’t go past the simply stunning PROTEA. It would take centre stage hanging in my daughters bedroom, complimenting her blush coloured, vintage linen bedding. I can picture it now; The crisp lines of the image, with just the right hint of pink in the PROTEA flower, marrying perfectly with the relaxed, crumpled linen bedding. A sweet bedroom that dreams are made of!

Distracted – its got this beautiful ying and yang complement. Your eye keeps being drawn around the piece from the floaty swipes of femine pastel to the brutish masculine dark lines. They create a feeling of being perfectly balance and could project that sentiment hanging in my home.

For me it’s the poppies. Reminds me of my dad and his stories about WW2. In our new house in the hallway we have coat hooks and on one of the hooks hangs my dads hat. I’d hang that print opposite his hat.
