If you’re looking for high tea ideas, or you just love to sip your cuppa in complete luxury, the new To Paris with Love high tea collection from Cristina Re is going to have you experiencing unparalleled joy and rapture. The best part, of course, is that you can win some of it.
As soon as I laid eyes on this limited edition collection, I knew you’d fall head over heels for it. Not only am I taken aback by how much sophistication it can bring to knocking back a coffee and cake, but the aesthetic of this new range is completely in line with one of this year’s big forecasted trends, Everyday Opulence.
The teacup and saucers, mugs, side plates and platter have all been hand illustrated, which makes them so much more appealing if you ask me. Not only that, but they’re made from the finest quality bone china which has been embellished with lustrous 24 ct gold. Seriously, does it get any more high end?
The other thing I love about each piece in the To Paris with Love collection is the versatility. Each item can be coordinated with the array of mix and match Teapots, Cake Stands, Plates, Mugs and other accessories from the existing Cristina Re High Tea Collection. Or, you can simply work them in with your existing pieces at home to create new colour and pattern possibilities.
In Australia, the Cristina Re teaware collection can be found at David Jones and boutique specialty bridal & art stores across the country. So if you’re looking for high tea ideas to make your gathering special, you know where to shop.Personally, though, I’m a huge fan of making everyday moments special, and this is what the pieces in this range do so beautifully.

What baked treats this could inspire!
And themed table to admire!
I love the elegant design,
And truly wish that this were mine.
This makes me really want to get saving so I can get to Paris, To Paris with Love makes me want to fall in love all over again..
It’s just gorgeous – how lovely to have a stylish little reminder of how wonderful Paris is in your own kitchen!
I’m a self-confessed Francophile and this gorgeous set would give me wonderful nostalgia of afternoon tea at Angelina’s in Paris. At least it would be the next best thing.
I absolutely adore all things French, girly & chic which is exactly what this is! I adore high teas with my favourite girls and this gorgeous set combines both these things I love – I would certainly be the hostess with the mostest with this set!! It is too beautiful! <3
Marianne mostly admires the actual fashion illustrations, on the Cristina Re ‘To Paris With Love’ high tea collection. While we have all seen pictures, of landmarks of Paris, too many times… the couture graphics, make this unique, and decorate the tea-set with perfection!!!
I love the teacups, especially the larger size – it’s great because I don’t have to wait as long for my black tea to cool enough to enjoy drinking it – also the handles (which is important for my mum’s older arthritic hands), the designs are wonderfully evocative of Parisian style and make me smile when I see them, wouldn’t that be wonderful every morning!
The gold accents! I’m like a magpie, I love shiny things, and this is beautiful.
I love the way black and white marries with flesh and gold tones in perfect poetry – so deliciously French.
The things I love to have in my home remind me of people and places I’ve loved – this tea set is gorgeous but best of all it transports me to the banks of the Seine on a summer afternoon.
