The IKEA ANVANDBAR Collection is all about Going Green
The new IKEA ANVANDBAR collection is all about encouraging you to live a greener lifestyle, so the pieces in this range are aimed at helping you reduce your environmental footprint in a variety of ways.
Saving water, saving energy, sorting waste… they’re out to assist you do the lot. And it certainly helps that the homewares in this new IKEA ANVANDBAR collection are visually pleasing, too!
The basic everyday products in this range are made from natural materials. They’re fun, easy and designed to help made a difference, even in little ways.
As you can see in the slideshow above, the collection features clay in large doses; in wine coolers, roasting dishes, butter dishes, vases and more. Beyond that, there’s also a range of tote bags, fabric, tea towels and throws, plus some very clever waste-sorting systems.
Fabric bags for vegetables are up for grabs too, as are brooms and dustpans, and even a clever armrest bench, that comes with a plant holder attached to the back (perfect for the balcony or courtyard). There’s also a Kinder Homes book from IKEA that’s packed with ideas for you to live a more responsible home life.
It’s all rather feel-good, don’t you think? I feel eager to start being more green already and I haven’t even seen these pieces in the flesh yet.
