After Kids Room Ideas on a Budget? This Post has you Sorted
I returned from my trip to Sydney a few weeks back with more than just warm and fuzzies over how great my old home city is. I also came back with a loot of craft and homewares goodies from Spotlight – who sponsored our Blogger brainstorm session on the Sunday afternoon – and who’ve really been upping the ante on the home decor front of late.
The key piece I was losing my marbles over was the divine Marquee Letter Light you see above. Especially great for kids rooms, this number is battery operated and you have the option of getting creative with it and decorating it with glitter, paint, paper – you name it. It’s great for personalising little ones’ spaces, so I gifted it to my niece before I jetted back to Melbourne and it’s sitting pretty in her bedroom now.
I jumped onto the Spotlight website and discovered that there are loads more pieces for kids bedrooms that you may not have realised they stock. I’ve included six standout pieces below, which can add some on-trend style to your space without breaking the bank.
Kids Room Ideas on a Budget from Spotlight
I think in kids spaces, it’s wise to invest some money in base pieces of furniture and keep the accessories fairly affordable. These sorts of homewares will move in and out of their room as they transition from toddler to child to tween to teen (and beyond), so spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on decorative items here seems kinda mad, don’t you think?
