Who knew that Towels had become so Designer? Bring it on!
The laundry is the most neglected area in the home when it comes to decorating, but I’d say that the bathroom comes in a close second. This zone is driven so much by functionality that we often forget that it can be decked out in divine decor and look pretty spesh too.
If you have little ones in the bathroom a lot, this adds another level of difficulty to the mix when you’re thinking about decorating. Precious soaps probably get eaten, candles can’t be lit, any vignette you try to set up will probably get pulled apart. Well, that’s what I imagine happens anyway (correct me if I’m wrong in the comments below).
One way to bring some colour into your bathroom and rope the kids in on the fun (decorating should start early, right?) is to introduce some fun towels. The ones I’m showcasing for you today and pretty and practical, so they’re a win when it comes to combining form and function.
Who knew that towels were the new designer home must-have? There’s some awesome designs coming out on the market at the moment and I am loving it.
What’s so neat about these towels – all of which are from new label Cosi Towels – is that they’re regular size, so although the kids might find them appealing, adults can use them too (I’ll take two in each colourway, thanks!).
Melbourne-based sisters Tina and Jo are the dynamic duo behind the label. Jo explains that the four designs available needed to please kids but also look good in an adult space.
“The collection captures an empowering richness and opulence that is fun for children of all ages and will give instant glamour to an adult’s bathroom,” she says.
Made from 500 gsm pure cotton, the Cosi Towel collection features a patterned side (of sheered velour) and a grey side (made from an absorbent looped terry), making them incredibly soft to touch.
The four designs available are: Tickle me Pink, Mini Picasso, Rainbow Rain and Confetti Stripe. They retail for $69 and are 75 x 150cm in size.
Cosi Towels will be exhibiting at Life Instyle, Melbourne 30 July-2 August
