Kmart homewares have been getting bigger, better and more affordable over the last year or so. The Aussie giant’s latest release, the Kmart Living Collection, has upped the ante just in time for new-year decorating.
In stores from February 1, the new range contains pieces for every room in the home. With a wonderfully contemporary look and feel, the collection has you covered when it comes to decking out your living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
Of course, what makes Kmart homewares so phenomenal is the insane price point of each piece, and the new range is no different. The Marble Splice & Pastels cushion you see below, for example, is only $10 and will no doubt fly off the shelves (especially since marble is still so incredibly on-trend).
The vibe of the collection is a sophisticated and monochromatic one, with muted pastel tones used to bring some softness and femininity to the look.
There’s a distinct Scandinavian feel to these Kmart homewares too, with just the right amount of elegance, so you can rock the Everyday Opulence trend – forecasted to be big in 2016. Warm wood tones also feature, making this an inviting collection as we enter the cooler months.
“Our previous Living releases have received an incredible response from Australians and I’m delighted that this collection continues to raise the bar,” says Julie Miller-Sensini, Kmart’s divisional merchandising manager of living. “At Kmart, we are passionate about delivering on-trend homewares at irresistibly low prices and we are very proud to reveal these new arrivals”.
Other fab finds in the range include the Occasional Chair ($49), Lustro Table Lamp ($20) and the Marble Effect Wire Table ($29).
Kmart homewares from the new Living collection are in-store now. Stock will vary from store to store.

I love K Mart. With those prices you can’t go wrong! I’m in the process of doing up my home for holiday rental and with your post have now made me think to go there for some lovely finishing pieces to bring it all together. Though I may be jumping the gun a bit, still painting. Have you done any articles on holiday rental styling or anything;to give me some advice to set up for that kind of ting? Thanks Sonya
I used to hate kmart but now I’m obsessed. I was there twice last week and will be back on Friday to pick up my layby – and probably layby a stack of the new stuff. I’ve just turned my garage into a master bedroom with ensuite and pretty much all my decor is from kmart…
Great pics Chris, I do love a bargain. I can’t believe the price on those chairs
