New Luxury Linen from Lamb & Stine that you can Win

There is just something so special about linen, don’t you think? I have styled it on shoots before and dreamt of the day I could secure some of it for my own bedroom.

If you’re in the same boat, then allow me to introduce you to a sublime Brissy brand who produce the most gorgeous linen in the country.

The biz I speak of is called Lamb & Stine, and it’s operated by one very talented cookie, Sharnee Lamb. Today’s post also includes your chance to WIN your very own linen bedding set from this fabulous business. But before we do that, let me tell you why linen is the go-to for your bed this spring and summer.

Why Linen is your Bestie

It’s non-allergenic, so it’s great for your skin. It also helps with a number of allergic disorders and is so soft and scrumply to the touch (scrumply is a word I invented, by the way. It’s a combination of soft and crumply and I reckon it’s the perfect way to describe linen).

Linen has antibacterial qualities. So if you trend to sweat in bed, linen is your go-to because it absorbs 20% of its dry weight before it feels wet. This will reduce those moments in the middle of the night when you wake up basking in your own marinade (we’ve all been there).

Linen looks phenomenal made but can be just as sublime if the bed is left a little messier than normal. I am all for beds looking less structured and formal (like this), so if you love a relaxed, lived-in look for your bedscape too, linen is your friend.

The other wonderful thing about linen is that it gets better with age. Wash it as many times as you like; this material continues to be soft and scrumply and holds its colour over time.

Why Lamb & Stine Rock

Lamb & Stine (pronounced ‘steen’) is relatively new to the market, and what I love about their approach is that they aim to make luxury linen affordable. You know I’m always on a budget, and firmly believe that bedding shouldn’t cost a bomb.

I also adore their personalised monogram service, which can see your initials placed on gorgeous pillow covers and cushions. This service has wedding gift, baby shower or birthday written ALL over it. I reckon it would make an amazing gift for someone special.

There’s a screen printed cushion range too! I go batty over cushion covers and love the personal touch that Sharnee puts into these pieces. Screen printing is tough work (I’ve tried it in the past), so to create cushion covers that look as good as Lamb & Stine’s is no walk in the park.

Stop it! Light pink linen! Paired with the charcoal, it would be bedtime heaven. There is a Jungian satisfaction to anchoring the ultra-feminine blush with slate grey. I’m in love!

I want that luxury hotel feeling every night, so the colourway has to be white. The most versatile colour which is always feels fresh and is a great foil to add pops of colour, if I want to change it up a bit! (which I do regularly) Chris

I’m loving the navy linen this gives the bedroom a nice contrast paired with the white linen or even the dove grey for abit of variety and mix up to the bed and keeps it fresh and inviting.

It would have to be the charcoal….the moody hue feels so inviting for a bed even coming up to the warmer months. Can imagine Sunday sleep-ins in these luxurious sheets coupled with coffee, breakfast and of course Oscar (my furry canine friend) Krush xoxo

I can’t decide between pale pink and charcoal – I think they are perfect together, so I’d have to choose some of each.

  • For me, it’s the Dove Grey that makes my heart sing. It’s a soft and beautiful colour, just like the linen that Sharnee describes. How gorgeous is she?! Young and having a go. Who wouldn’t want to support her business?

Love love love the Dove Grey. I’m about to makeover my daughters bedroom as she starts high school next year. I want to create a relaxed boho feel for her room so she can go there and chill (and remove herself from her brother!) on those days where it all seems a little too hard to be growing up.

Dove grey – I am needing this beautiful gift as I am loving the purity of linen and the fact that it gets softer with age, meaning I will not need to replace it for a long time . Dove grey will go with any decor

Dove Grey! I don’t really ‘need’ them, but boy do I WANT them! I adore luxurious bedding, but I tend to be a bit of a lazy bed maker, so linen is perfect for my ‘less than magazine worthy’ style.

I am beginning my second half of life, having raised two amazing sons on my own. I always sacrificed my wants and needs for theirs, gladly. But now, I’d like to do some wonderfully decadent things for ME, and soft, quality linen sheets has been on my want list for some time now. The Dove Gray or the Pink are perfection. Thank you for the opportunity to possibly win them!

  • I love the Charcoal. The reason why is, as a book blogger, I think that this hue would create a great contrast as a background for book cover images that I post on my social media. I wouldn’t even have to get out of bed to take a photo, of the book I’m reading, which means extra reading time for me 😉 It’s a win-win situation!! 🙂

I adore the Charcoal. The reason I need this devine linen bedding pack is because I am literally sleeping in a mismatch of sheets and pillow covers handed down from my mother/sister/friends. My bed is a patchwork of tired, old and aesthetically questionable bedding. Help me to discover what stylish sleeping could be!

Linen linen … I am a true die hard of linen and boy!..these are so gorgeous bed linen that I could sleep, drink and eat in bed all day. Can very much relate to Sharnee’s concept of why linen is a wonderful choice especially with a husband no matter what season can be found in a pool of sweat! Please help me to own my first ever linen bedding and I will be grateful to you Sharnee for the rest of my life! ( I hope I sound desperate enough!) I love all the shades that you make and can see why the dove grey is so popular. It is the winner! Thanks for the opportunity.

I love the pink! …but also the dove grey and charcoal…I would adore any colour. I need these sheets because I’m broke-ass gal, back at uni so no disposable income. I never allow myself anything new unless it’s desperate. My bed is currently sporting white cotton sheets that are so old they’ve gone that slightly beige colour that no amount of bleach can salvage. Help!

When it comes to home wares I’ve always been the charcoal type, but seeing the softer coloured Dove Grey set I now long to have that perfectly crinkled linen set on my bed. To me there is nothing better than a nice slow morning on a cloudy weekend, (call me crazy – I just love cold weather!) and the grey tone of the dove grey would allow me to wake up relaxed in a perfectly muted environment (even on the sunniest of days).

Wow these are beautiful and the word ‘scrumply’ definitely descibes linen! Perfect! I would LOVE the charcoal or navy linen. I need a dark colour because i tend to sweat and ‘marinate’ and my boyfriend tends to spill things that stain. Grrr to him.
I love the lighter colours but just know they will be ruined and i will cry. Haha

As a very tired Mama of 3 year old and 3 week old boys, bringing some luxury into my bedroom would certainly make the few short hours of sleep I get each night an absolute pleasure! I think the Charcoal colourway would perfectly compliment my Geo quilt cover from Arro Home with it’s pink, grey and mustard tones
