Nautical Inspired Lamp Range by Tim Neve on The Life Creative Blog

Swoon Alert: Check out these new Nautical-Inspired Lamps from Tim Neve

Thought nautical was on the way out? Computer says no! Aussie stylist Tim Neve has just launched a sublime line of nautical-inspired lighting that’ll have you channeling the Hamptons all over again.

These unique lamp designs from Tim Neve are giving me absolute life right now. The gorgeous navy, white and tuquoise colour story in this collection feels fresh, crisp and clean. Paired with blonde and mid-toned timbers, it evokes a real sense of seaside charm.

The fabrics in this range come from Tim’s recent collaboration with textile powerhouse Sparkk. He’s taken the fabrics and used them across the lamps you see here; in cylindrical shapes of different sizes. The base cloths have a textured, linen-like weave that makes them super tactile once they’re lit up.

“It’s wonderful to see how versatile a pattern can be,” Tim tells me. “From seeing it as wallpaper on a wall, to now as a decorator piece like a lamp so anyone can easily add colour and pattern into any room.”

It’s no secret that Tim loves a coastal interior, which is why he’s gone with such a literal approach when it came to this lighting range. His book, Sandcastles, is packed with coastal interior ideas and his most recent Mermania tile collection also channels this aesthetic.

It’s a pretty hard look not to fall hard for, don’t you think?

There’s such a sense of fun and whimsy in these pieces, and they’ll feel right at home in a coastal interior. I can also see them working to add vibrance to a kids space, and playing well with vintage furniture from this year’s hottest interior trend, The New Eclectic. What do you reckon?

These Lamps are priced from $280. Click here to see more via Tim’s website.
