Luxury stationery doesn’t get more glam than the loot I’m showcasing in today’s post. It comes courtesy of a stunning Melbourne-based brand, and it’s seriously taking the world by storm.
Luxury Stationery from Jot it Down
Jot it Down only set up shop in November last year and they’re already making waves both locally and internationally, shipping their range of luxury stationery across the country and overseas.
I caught up with the brand’s Creative Director Amie Spooner this week and she told me that the biz was born out of a gap her and director Simon Hill saw in the market, for well designed, quality stationery that appeals to the style conscious.
“Our focus has and always will be to create products that are effortlessly chic, fitting seamlessly into everyday life,” Amie explains, adding that she feels the brand’s vibe is “uniquely minimal with a bohemian flair”.
Having spent years as an account manager in the fashion industry and having studied textile and graphic design at RMT, it’s obvious to see that Amie’s sense of style has transferred over into each piece. The feather pens, for example, are nothing short of fashion-forward divinity. You can see more of them further down.
“With the marble homewares trend still going strong, I love that you can bring some of this onto your desk, bedside table or study nook.”
I first discovered Jot it Down via Instagram. A pic of the marble memo cube you see above popped up in my feed and I lost my mind. With the marble homewares trend still going strong, I love that you can bring some of this onto your desk, bedside table or study nook.
I also love that these products tap into 2016’s hottest interiors trend, Everyday Opulence.
“The Marble Memo Cube is one of my favourites from the range,” Amie admits. “I think it is such a simple concept but love that it mimics the look of a real piece of marble”.
Although the desktop accessories really appeal to me (because desks are seriously under-styled in Australia!), it’s the on-the-go leather accessories from Jot it Down that give me heart palpitations.
The wonderfully chic journals are also worthy of your lust; they’re covered in stunning genuine leather, available in black or white, and come with an effortless leather tie feature.
“Overall we love every piece in the Essentials Collection which is why it is there,” Amie explains. “We emphasise quality over quantity and ensure every piece is thought out and essential to a well organised, stylish workspace!”.
With a second collection in the making and with some additional products being added to the Jot it Down luxury stationery range, it’s safe to say that workspaces and handbags across the country and going to be very stylishly decked out with Jot it Down goodness.
Are you loving this luxury stationery? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the range in the comments below.
