Gold, bronze and silver have all had their time in the spotlight, Creatives! Today’s post is celebrating the forgotten metallic: copper. Sure, it might not come in medal form and be given out at the Olympics, but it’s one of the most gorgeous tones in homewares right now and I can’t get enough of it – especially when it’s paired with simple black and white hues.
So to get you in the mood to embrace the charm of copper, I’m giving you the lowdown on where to get 10 of the best copper homewares pieces. Of course, we live in the future now, so all of these finds can be nabbed online, so you can shop in your PJ’s with ease!
Above is my most-loved find from my copper-seeking travels – the Love is the New Black foil print. It comes in A3 size and like all the finds in this post, can be found on the Down That Little Lane website!
Below are nine other gorgeous copper gems, each with a link to where you can purchase. Just looking at these homewares is giving me heart palpitations – they’re that good.

Hey,
Thank you for sharing the information about the Copper
I want the copper can opener how do I get it
LOVE copper at the moment! FYI you can get battery opera copper wire fairy lights from Typo for $29.95! I purchased some today and I’ve popped them inside a jar like a little lamp!
Ooh that sounds like a genius idea to me. Thanks for the hot tip. Still adoring copper something shocking 🙂
How do I get to copper can opener
I absolutely love this! Have you seen this new start up company??? They are based in Australia and their copper range takes metallic homewares to the next level!!! This literally launched last weekend. https://www.facebook.com/metalluxe
I incorporated copper pipe pieces to some new outdoor macrame plant hangers I made, as I love copper, particularly against monotone. But I have lacquered them with a special clear coating, as air plants are trending at the mo, and raw copper kills airplants!! Good thing to remember folks 🙂
Thanks so much for the idea Suzie! I’d love to see some snaps of the planters as I am living for copper, macrame and planters at the moment!
Can’t seem to attach snaps, but there are some in my shop – . I’m working on a new design with more copper pipe involved. Can never get enough!
I am completely obsessed with Copper.. i even used copper in my christmas theme!!
Stephanie you are totally on-trend with the copper. To me it’s amazing because it feels traditional but contemporary all at the same time!
I’m looking for a gold pot plant holder for my new fiddle leaf ficus but can’t seem to locate anything online. It needs to be a decent size and really really shiny! (Yep that’s the design word for it) Have you any ideas on where to buy?
That’s a toughie Se. I’ve seen loads of concrete holders with gold strips or rims but nothing totally gold in my travels. What about something like this? http://downthatlittlelane.com.au/meina-farala-home/product/49424-metallic-gold-and-black-concrete-bowl
You could get some gold enamel spray paint from a hardware store and coat a white base pot for a luxe-y looking DIY version! If you coated it with a clear varnish, it would give you the super gloss you are after 🙂 Get thyself to a Bunnings!
I love copper on everything, art, homewares, even myself, I’m wearing a copper watch and bracelet today!
Haha sounds like you’re rocking the trend with price Michelle – I love it 🙂 I am seeing pics on your social media bttw – are you doing more renos? I want pics 🙂
Copper is my obsession at the moment. I picked up a vintage um…sauce or milk pouring jug from the Mitchell Rd Antique Centre when we were there a few months back. I’m in the market for a Copper candelabra and that stool…so amazing!
I hear ya on the stool, Aja. It’s pretty stunning right? I think copper gives a room a nice bit or shine without it being too overbearing. The jug sounds awesome. I’d love to see a pic!
