I’m obsessed with Lisa Sarah steel art.
And although it’s probably best classified as outdoor art, I don’t think you can pigeon hole it that quickly. With the rise of metallic homewares and our love for merging indoor and outdoor spaces, you can’t really say that these designs are destined for the garden alone. I can see them working in a number of spaces inside the home and think they’d give a room a very unique talking point.
I’ve featured Lisa Sarah’s work on the blog before (check out that post here) and I am delighted to share some of her new designs with you in this post.
Lisa showcased her new steel art pieces at the NZ Home and Gift Fair recently and the attendees went wild over them. I can see why. With a new batch of slogans to inspire and with a range of fonts that are both soft and strong, these designs are an absolute dreamboat.
I personally can’t get enough of the flamingo art you see here. Isn’t it stunning? I’ve featured flamingo homewares on the blog before and I don’t think the trend is going anywhere soon!
Made from 100% recyclable steel, there’s a total of 30 new pieces in the range and you can customise the piece by choosing the backing colour you’d like used, so you can tailor the look to suit your home. The shots in this post showcase the beauty of silver, but you can also get the art in copper, gold or bronze as well (all finished by hand, too).
“With our outdoor areas being an extension of our living space, more and more people are looking for different and interesting ways to decorate that area, like they do indoors,” Lisa tells me.
