When I hear the word man cave, so often imagery of beer cans, gigantic TV’s and deer heads spring to mind. It’s everything I dislike put into a room at the same time, come to think of it. And let’s not even go there with the girly calendars. Do they even exist anymore? They shouldn’t.
From a style perspective, there are some really amazing ways to reinvent the man cave. I’ll be posting more in-depth on this topic next week, but in the meantime, this absolutely stellar new range from Aussie brand Nathan and Jac is doing all the talking for me.
Who are Nathan and Jac?
If you’re yet to meet Nathan and Jac, let me fill you in. The brand was founded by three stylists a few years back, and the premise for the business is a genius one. They bundle up interiors packs for customers, so you can purchase a whole loot of homewares and/or furniture at the same time and know that they’ll all work together. Tammy Nathan, Jac Zarkovic and Bec Astrinakis are the ladies behind the concept and I love it.
If you struggle to put the finishing touches on a room and want someone to do all the hard work for you, this is where Nathan and Jac come into it. They have 14 different packages on their website, and there’s a really varied range of aesthetics on offer.
Nathan and Jac’s New Aston Range
So, back to the Aston range, which is landing this week. It’s so wonderfully inspired by the modern gentleman that I can barely cope with how dapper it is.
What I love about this look is that it’s inspired by the sophisticated urban gentleman but there are still soft touches to it. It contains classic style, clean lines, and there’s a sophisticated global traveller edge to it too.
The Aston collection includes complete living room and dining room sets, plus accessory packs for smaller vignettes. I am also crushing hard on their cushion range, which is made up of materials like leather, wool, cotton, velvet and linen. I have a bit of an obsession with leather cushions at the moment, and am coveting them hard for my forever home.

Are you loving this modern man cave look? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
This. Is. Everything! I absolutely love this range and there is actually nothing that I wouldn’t put into my home. It’s gorgeous! You’re right about the cushions too…so good! I too have been eying the brown leather cushion for my place.
Tell me about it! I am utterly obsessed. I’m going to be taking my new home in a bit more of a subdued, dapper and sophisticated direction – and every image in this post is bang-on-point if you ask me. Glad you’re loving it too Allan.
