I was in Kmart the other day for yet another look around their decor department, and discovered the glorious copper cutlery set you see above.
Now, despite what the trendy naysayers might suggest, copper is not over. I mean, is a colour or material really ever ‘over’? You know me; I reckon if you love it, rock it. Who cares what anyone else says!
As a decorating junkie who gravitates toward deep blues most of the time in my own home, I couldn’t help but put together the below navy and copper homewares edit for you.
Seriously, these two shades look phenomenal together. The navy feels moody and sophisticated, and the copper turns up the sense of elegance and luxury. It’s a winning colour combo we just can’t escape from (not that you’d want to, right?).
