New Scandinavian Design and Decor hits Australia (and it’s Sublime)
I have become obsessed and infatuated with Kahler Design.
Their first piece – a Kahler vase – was turned 175 years ago in a pottery workshop in Denmark. Then, their stunning designs made an impression at the 1889 World Exhibition in Paris, where the Eiffel Tower was inaugurated. And now, they’re about to land in Australia. I couldn’t be more beside myself to get my hands on a piece of Scandinavian design history like this. Let me at it!
The Omaggio pieces you see above, which feature gorgeous stripes in a black and white colourway, are perhaps the most iconic pieces from the Kahler Design range, but that is of course not all that’s on offer. They also produce a collection of other pieces, including kitchenware, office accessories, dinnerware and home decor.
Let’s take a look at some of my fave pieces, and more importantly, where you can get them from!
Pretty impressive, right? As you can see, the Kahler range is a pretty varied one, but they all have an inherent sense of timelessness and craftsmanship about them. The candle houses above are perhaps my fave from the collection, sporting an undeniably Scandi vibe. But I’d happily take any of these pieces and showcase them in my home with pride.
The good news is that these pieces are coming to Resident GP in June, but you can pre-order now so you don’t miss out on securing your favourite item.
