You know me; I’m a sucker for scented candles. I first spotted the ones in today’s post when I attended the West Elm + Etsy pop-up shop last month and was instantly experiencing nirvana for the nostrils. Let me tell you all about the glorious and new Maison Blanche candle range.
For Kristy Paine, the candle connoisseur who started the brand, it was the desire to create the perfect vanilla bean scent that started Maison Blanch back in 2012. A short time later, the Sydney-based creative is still hand-pouring her scented candles, but in a gorgeous new batch of fragrances – free of toxins and additives, of course!
New scents this season includes sweet pea + vanilla, nectarine + mint, sweet orange + chili, lychee + peony and more, with prices starting at $24. The new range of scents now takes the variety of candles Kristy makes to an impressive 16 types.
“The idea that something I created is now a part of someone’s nightly ritual; a feature in their home, is extraordinary and incredibly humbling,” she says.
