Freedom’s spring/summer catalogue landed in my PO Box yesterday and I spent the afternoon going a bit bananas over their new bibs and bobs. Bright colour seems to be the big focus for the brand this season, which is pleasing me to no end (I’m sure this comes as no surprise). Here’s my top 10 picks from the delightful new range – and I’d love you to shares yours, too!
Above: My fave pick of all – the Loft Storage Unit is $169 and totally to-die-for, right?
Freedom’s senior homewares buyer (Good Lord what a job!), Korryn Bentley, tells me that the crew are looking to inspire you to be daring with hue as the warmer weather approaches.
“Australians are known for their love of colour – and this season our collection is a celebration of an Australian Summer,” Korryn explains. “Think sunsets, mixed lollies, sun-faded pool ponies, pink milk, Tic Toc biscuits – all the best bits of our childhood without the saccharine. Whether it’s being brave with a lick of paint, or a softer approach with cushions, vessels or a rug, our customers should feel empowered to bring colour into their home”.
If you’re a little less adventurous with colour, there’s a stack of subdued homewares on offer for you, of course. But for me, it’s all about the brights (as you’ll see below).
(1) Molecule Deco Ball in Neon Green – $12.95. (2) Diner Ceiling Pendant – $149. (3) Quebit Candle Holder in Coral – $29.95 (4) Java Cushion – $34.95 (5) Throwback Table Lamp – $99 (6) Zed Decorative Chair in Sunshine Yellow – $9.95 (7) Zedd Cactus in Neon Pink – $49.95 (8) Arrow Hamper in Raspberry – $99 (9) Serve it Tray – $44.95
