Wallpaper Online: 6 New Designs that’ll Transform your Interior
After a dramatic new look for your home but fear that a splash of paint just won’t do it? You need to jump on the wallpaper bandwagon. Better still, if you’re hunting for wallpaper online and need some ideas, these six new designs have you sorted.
What makes these new releases so special is that they’re anything but subtle. Although decades ago you’d find a tonne of homes decked out with bold wallpaper designs, most recently we’ve all gotten a little shy – veering toward a calmer aesthetic.
Maybe it’s just trends doing their cyclical thing, or maybe we’re afraid of the horror of peeling the wallpaper away once we’re over it. If the latter is the case for you, take solace in the fact that wallpaper is far easier to put on and take off than it was when people were giving it a go in the 70s and 80s.
Let’s take a closer look at the six designs that have just landed from Rebel Walls – available locally through Scandinavian Wallpaper & Decor. We’ll start with the calmer ones of the bunch and work our way through to the more visually punchy.
Wallpaper Online: 6 New Stunning Designs
The two designs you see above are a great way to ease into buying wallpaper online if you’ve not done it before. They’re both visually stunning and do transform a space, but they’re not as dominant as some of the other designs you’ll see below.
The first design is called Cuddle Clouds and the second is Pulse of Passion (in white). Both have been styled up with muted, Scandinavian-inspired accessories and the results are nothing short of stellar. If you’re tinkering with giving a feature wall in your home a makeover, these two options are perfect and won’t scare or overwhelm you too much.
For something a little more daring and with a definite nod to the Botanics Trend which has been so huge in interiors over the last year, you can’t go past the two designs above. Both make a statement but they’re still quite calm in nature, bringing with them a sense of serenity.
The top design is called Climbing Clorofyl and the second is named Leaf Love. Both looks definitely require a little more guts to put up at home, but the results will be spectacular. The styling around a dramatic wallpaper like this doesn’t need to get very fussy or over-embellished. Instead, keep it minimal and let the wallpaper be the star of the show.
Some wallpapers are best left to those of you who love impact in your homes and the two above deliver it, albeit in very different ways. Although the shapes, colours and patterns in the two wallpapers above are polar opposites, both are quite punchy.
The top design is called Birch Bark Braids and the bottom is Lenses (in Peach). The woven design in the Birch Bark Braids is a rather large motif and as such it’s really going to dominate a space. That’s not a bad thing, but just be aware of the room you’re going to put this in and how such a strong pattern can make the space feel. The bottom design is easier to implement; it’s whimsical and feminine – and would look right at home in a girl’s room, as styled above.
