Win a Typo Winter Bedding Pack Valued at $200!

Typo Winter Bedding - Charcoal Grey

Bedding is my new obsession.

I already know that I have an unhealthy addiction to cushions and candles, but just before Autumn hit, I started getting images coming my way left, right and centre of dreamy bedding. It kick-started an internal quilt/doona/pillow frenzy that’s still going on months later.

One such collection that I’ve totally lost my marbles over is Typo’s new bedding range, which is seriously the last stop on their journey toward world domination. I personally can’t get enough of it. If you’re in a similar boat and would like to get your mitts on some, the good news is that I’m running a fabulous competition, that could score you the bedding set of your dreams.

Typo Winter Bedding - Yellow and Green Colourway Arrows Typo Winter Bedding - Tribal Pattern Bedding Typo Winter Bedding - White and Beige Stripes

What’s so fab about this new range from Typo is that there’s something for everyone – and in a colour story that’ll work in a variety of bedrooms. A collection of sorbet tones and whites bode well for lovers of a light and airy palette, while the mint and yellow tones allow colour lovers to go wild for winter. And if you’re currently going gaga for charcoal (it’s my personal fave right now – teamed with some black and white accents), there’s bedding in the collection to suit you too.

I’m also pretty keen on the tribal print, which taps into the African theme in home decor that’s trending right now. I love the animal print cushion in the shot above. Any time I see animal print I always think of Amanda’s bedding in Melrose Place. I’m totally showing my age here, but let me know if you remember it too 🙂

Loving the Charcoal! It’s neutral, and minimal but it has a bit of an industrial feel to it. It also adds a bit of texture to the room. We have just freshened up out bedroom, and this will match just perfectly! If I don’t win, I may just have to go buy one! 🙂

In know in following the trend here, but Charcoal all the way! We are renting our place at the moment so the greys/charcoal/whites are a great neutral choice to give our home a more on trend feel plus is a diverse colour and style to bring into a new home when we do decide to build or buy one day.

I would love to catch some zzz’ in the beautiful grey set. It’s ruffle detail gives it a bit of spunk and because of its neutral tone I can have some fun with some throw cushions to add a pop of colour.

Whilst I agree the Charcoal is lovely, I’m needing some colour in my life so the lemon and mint hits the right spot. And the colourful cushions on the last set are fabulous!!! Yes I remember Melrose place, but I was more of a 90210 kinda girl, Team Brandon, not Dylan!

I absolutely cannot go past yellow for a bright, querky feel in my bedroom. It makes me so happy to wake in the morning enveloped in such a joyful colour and the combination of mint printing is perf because, of course, that is the colour that features most throughout the remainder of my home. Co-ink-ee-dink.

Mad for the mint green and yellow set, these crisp colours will pep up the bedroom in the dark drab of winter that’s almost upon us. And if I squint my eyes, I can see little Pacmans 🙂

Imagine being asked by your wife to enter this competition? I said to her, Mum (yes, we call each other Mum and Dad, although we are still childless and still hopeful, happily married for 11 years and counting) we can just buy it off the shop? But again, the thrill of winning must be the reason why she asked me to do this. She admitted entering the competition herself! I guess she just wanted to raise the odds! Hahaha!
Well, she chose a different colour so I’ll go for the Charcoal in case she wins and I win! Double happiness isn’t it! We can change sheets twice a week don’t you think?! And yeah, our bed is Queen-sized because she’s the queen in our bedroom (and home, etc, etc) 🙂

    reply
  • What a tough choice – I’m torn between the grey quilted number and the yellow and mint green combo! But today I’m going with yellow and mint green because I need a bit of colour in my day! – and yes queen size would be perfect!

Usually I am always drawn towards bright coloured everything but oh my goodness without a doubt do I pick the quilted charcoal!! I sort of wish I hadn’t looked at this post right as I’d gotten into the office this morning because now all I want to do is snuggle in bed! It looks so plush and welcoming, warm and cosy buy yet still so fresh and modern. Plus I could very easily pair it with a couple of over the top brightly coloured cushions to satisfy my obsession 🙂

  • Spearmint green and yellow is so in vouge at the moment. To have them both on the same quilt cover seems so right. The fact there is a fabulous pattern on the reserve side you can really work this cover with depth- it ticks every box. Perfect for my new natural linen upholstered bed.

  • Chris

They are all absolutely stunning in their own way, but the best one for me at the moment would have to be the yellow and mint one. I’m loving mint so much I’ve purchased a gorgeous lamp from target in mint and have pops of that colour all over my house. I’d love to win some new bedding so I can get a different feel in my bedroom. Hopefully the beautiful colours would cheer up hubby a little too. (So love your fb page, one of the first things I look at in the morning even before my coffee.) Thanks.

I would love the charcoal grey set so much!! We inherited a purple bedroom and just cannot afford the replastering and repainting at the moment so the charcoal colours and textures would be amazing to offset the purpleness that I am currently sleeping in! And who knew Typo did bedding! So exciting

  • Jess

Charcoal…..just because its amazing and looks like it would be good to snuggle in on a cold winters day 🙂

  • Matthew Clark

Charcoal would definitely be the prime choice, looks luxurious and soft, the kind of bedding you never want to get out of, this would also tie in with the colour palette we are in the process updating with, crisp whites & charcoals to take our 78′ bedroom into this century, bye bye mission brown & beige!

  • Sara

That charcoal is divine! It would fit perfectly with my bright yellow vintage lamps and Aztec canvas prints, it’s exactly what I’ve been searching for! And the fact that it isn’t too feminine would make my husband happy too lol

I love the first set, the deep grey, especially the bows that have been bunched together at the bottom end.

With such a neutral tone as the base, you could add any pops of colour through cushions, throws etc and it would draw it all together and look stunning

    reply
  • The quilted charcoal in your cover story! A neutral and perfect foil for adding touches of colour too as well as its adaptability to most bedroom colour schemes !

  • Sarah

Definitely the charcoal! Great base for the room, very easy to add a pop of any colour to brighten it up.
