Win Gold Foil Prints and Other Art from Papier d’Amour

I Solemnly Swear Print by Paper D'Amour

Wanna know the best thing about blogging?

It’s discovering new decor brands – and telling you about them so you can get in on the joy and rapture. If you’re a decorating addict like me, there’s no greater moment than stumbling across a new local biz that makes stunning pieces for the home. Papier D’Amour has been on my lust list for a while now and I am so excited to tell you about them today.

Their gorgeous flagship store opened in Double Bay, Sydney, back in 2006 – and is run by designer Phoebe Gazal. It’s the place to go to find stationery, photo albums, desk accessories, ribbon and a whole lot more. Their newest print range, which is available in-store and in their online shop, is giving me heart palpitations in the best way possible.

This art is going to reinvent your walls, so have a medic on standby and let’s take a closer look!

Eat Diamonds for Breakfast Print - Paper d-Amour Gold Foil Prints by Paper D'Amour

Designed to work individually or as a set, these Papier D’Amour prints are a vibrant art moment if I ever saw one. The colour story of gold and silver tones against a white backdrop makes these prints stand out from the crowd, but the newest (limited) edition – a hot pink colourway – is rocking my world thanks to its high-velocity hue.

There’s an important quality story to take into account here as well, because these prints are produced on the finest paper stock. You can buy them framed or unframed too, which can take some of the work out of hunting down the right frame to fit your fave print.

These artworks also bode well for teaming with confetti dots in matching colours – and I really like the idea of creating a gallery wall at home with some of your fave slogans displayed (like in the image above). I also reckon there’s a message to suit everyone (my fave being the “do what you love” print. It’s simple but oh so true!).

My favourtie print is “all you need is faith, trust and pixie dust”.. It reminds me of my life when my children where younger and my daughters would dress as fairies and life was so innocent and sweet!

‘Eat diamonds for breakfast and shine all day’. I simply NEED this hanging by the fridge in my kitchen! As a brand new Mum, this is how I want to teach my daughter to live. With a little sparkle! What a gorgeous reminder to start the day with a healthy brekki so you can shine.

Dr Seuss Gold Foil Print “Why fit in when you were born to stand out”. Too much time and energy in life gets spent trying to fit in…trying to be seen as “normal”. I personally think that normal is pretty boring. After all, why be normal when you can be exceptional?! When something simply “fits in” it is too easy to blend in, to go completely unnoticed. But when something stands out you cannot help but notice it. You cannot help but have your attention drawn to it.

I adore the print that says ‘take a walk on the wild side’ purely because it encourages us to wake up, shake up and do things differently! Encouragement to live life to the full! How brilliant is that!?

My favourite is the ‘I solemnly swear I am up to no good’ print. It exactly sums up a point I am in life where I live in a beautiful self inflicted chaos that I would trade for the world. Plus everyone loves Harry Potter..

My favourite is the gold foil “Do what you love”. No matter what age or life stage it would serve as a reminder for everyone in my household everyday. It’s something I want to instill in my kids and remind myself of too – you’re never too old to chase happiness!

Life’s Better When You Are Laughing is my favorite because it is absolutely true. Even in the dark times, laughing can take the pressure off and let you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. When times are good, laughing just makes them even better and very memorable

  • OMG! All of them!!!! “Never Complain/Never Explain” speaks to me. Although I do think that other one should read “All you need is faith, lust and pixie dust!”.

  • Raeann

They are all so amazing but my absolute favourite is ‘All you need is Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust’ because if you don’t have faith and trust, the pixie dust will never work. And it reminds me of my all time favourite story Peter Pan bringing back sweet childhood memories 🙂

My fave is “ALL YOU NEED IS FAITH, TRUST AND PIXIE DUST!”

I begged for my hubby to watch the Tinkerbell: Legend of the Neverbeast with me on our couch a couple of weeks ago. Trust me when I say he loves the story and one of the songs on the soundtrack :1000 Years. He says it lulls him to sleep and the lyrics was really nice.
This quote just fits! I would love to hang it on my home office board! Will be very happy to receive a gold one!

    Yay!

  • I love the gold colour trend in art and homewares! They all made me smile but especially CHAMPAGNE IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER

“Throw glitter in the air like you just don’t care” I think when you look at this print it’ll bring out your fun side, reminding you to not take things too seriously, to have fun & to add a bit of bling to your day & life 🙂

  • Oh, easy decision … “Champagne is always the answer” is definitely my favourite. There’s no question.

Have to pick a sign in the neon pink (as that would just look so awesome and bright and funky on my wall) – so will choose the “all you need is faith, trust and pixie dust” as life is always throwing bombs at us, so this is a great reminder to just go with the flow and things will work out in the end 🙂

  • Gina

Definitely the ‘Do what you love’ print in gold – loving the idea of a blingy and positive quote like that to look at every day… and when that doesn’t pick me up, I’d just look at my ‘Champagne is always the answer’ poster he he.
