We all know that Woolies are the fresh food people. It’s something we’ve all grown up with, right? But what I wasn’t aware of is that they’re all over colourful Spring homewares. Yeah, you read right.
This post is brought to you by Nuffnang and Woolworths.
Not only are they the go-to destination for fresh food and groceries, but you can actually kit out your dining room and kitchen with a host of their decor goodies. I’m talking colourful crockery, affordable cutlery and a tonne of gorgeous glass and bakeware.
I gathered up a loot of Woolworths decor recently and shot a video to show you just how awesome their range is. Check it out below.
How to Make the Most of your Woolworths Homewares
Pair patterned pieces with block colours. Woolies has gorgeous white plates that can act as a base for more dynamic mugs and bowls in trending striped colours. Matching your dinnerware to a tee is a little outdated, so don’t be afraid to mix it up!
Think outside the box with your glassware and use pieces for alternative purposes. I’ve utilised Woolies glass tumblers to hold jam and cream when having scones. But you could also make mini trifles and other desserts in them too.
Visit the party aisle to complete a your table setting. Never underestimate the power of a colourful paper serviette. Woolies has loads of colours available and you can incorporate them into a lunch or dinner setting and throw them away when you’re done.
Use tea towels as table decoration. You don’t have to use a tablecloth anymore. Stage a series of mini vignettes on your tablescape using tea towels to ground each arrangement. You might also like to line large bowls with them to add a pop of pattern to the setting.
Display servingware on the table instead of dishing up food on the bench. Especially if you have guests over, it’s nice to present food on wooden bread boards or in lovely baking dishes. Allowing everyone to serve themselves makes the setting feel more relaxed.
