I love nothing more than window shopping. I’ll go for a wander to squiz at gorgeous furniture and homewares even if I have no money or if they items are well out of my price range.
The same goes for stunning designer furniture I see online or at trade shows. Hey, I might not be able to afford them right now, but it doesn’t mean my interior design clients can’t splurge on them, right? That’s the best part about being an interior decorator, I must admit; getting to put gorgeous designer pieces into homes that you’d probably not get the chance to showcase in your own abode!
But back to the topic at hand; the divine new Jewel range from designer furniture brand Zuster. It’s so on-trend and outta this world that I’m positively chomping at the bit to get my hands on some. It’s packed with so many luxurious touches that each piece in the range is set to be an heirloom item you’d pass on for decades.
Let’s take a closer look at what makes it so amazing.
The New Jewel Range from Zuster
Comprised of 10 bespoke pieces in total, the striking Jewel collection has been designed by Zuster’s Director Wilhelmina McCarroll, in collaboration with the brand’s team of expert craftspeople. Each piece has been made in Zuster’s Melbourne factory, calling on the skill set of expert cabinet makers and Wilhelmina’s unique creative vision.
As you can see in the gorgeous photos throughout the post, the range is made up of a rich and earthy palette of luxurious and precious materials. Hand-carved timber forms the foundation of the collection and there are plenty of divine embellishments for those of you who adore a little shimmer and shine; hand-blown glass, precious stones, specialty marbles (marble will never go off-trend), and warm metallic hints of copper and brass.
“The Jewel Collection is the result of a very organic and creative process which pushes the limits of our craft,” Wilhelmina explains. “Each item within the collection holds a certain kind of magic that strikes a chord and makes a special connection with the user”.
Consider the connection struck! I am head over heals for the dominant nature of the Halo Storage Cabinet you see at the top of the post; complete with glass blown handles. That is probably my favourite pieces from the Jewel collection, although truth be told, I’d happily take anything from Zuster if the opportunity struck!
