What happens when creative employees at a Sydney PR firm get the go ahead from management to give the wall of their kitchen some sprucing up? This graffiti makeover from the team at Ogilvy! Get a load of the spray-painting journey and ooh and ahh at the end result below!
“After some urging from other employees, myself and my friend Anthony said we would do a collaboration to bring it to life,” says Bede Gannon, Ogilvy’s graphic designer and one half of the team behind this kitchen wall makeover. “The only brief was to ‘make it colourful’. We wanted to do something bright and eye catching, but with a graffiti edge that everybody could enjoy”.
The most impressive part of the whole thing is that Bede and Anthony didn’t use a sketch, which is commonplace in the street art scene.
“We figured we would just have fun and do whatever worked,” he says. “I think it came out nicely without the constraints of a sketch”.
You know I’m mad for graffiti (CLICK HERE to check out my post on street art interiors), so I’m utterly obsessed with the end result. Is this something you could see working in your office space?
