Snapping the Beauty at Terrace Outdoor Living
I first came across Terrace Outdoor Living courtesy of their pop-up store at the Supa Centre Moore Park. I was a little saddened to hear they were closing down until I realised their flagship store in Woollahra housed everything that their pop-up store did – and then some! I took to this Eastern Suburbs haven for all this green and outdoors and snapped my fave pieces!
A collaboration between creative masterminds Paul Joseph Hopper and Bianca Moore, what Terrace does best is blur the lines between interior decorating and the outside world. It truly does bring the outside in and makes the concept of outdoor entertaining seem effortless and simplistic through their range of plants, pottery, furniture and tableware.
Hanging plants find themselves comfortably displayed indoors, terrariums make a real focal point in the store and colourful cushion clusters caught my eye. I didn’t know if the cushions were intended to stay indoors or out – which is why they’re so genius. This is definitely the go-to place for decorators who like to play in both internal and external spaces without the zones appearing glaringly different. I love this seamless style.
Their entertainer pieces are also particularly stunning. The chairs above are a real standout. I absolutely love the industrial feel of the ‘have a seat’ print. The wood top of the seat only cements my love for his piece further. Below, the creamy colour of these ceramic bowls are perfect for outdoor entertaining. They would be lovely to serve condiments in!
Our back there is a whole world of greenery. This is where lovers of outdoor plants can go wild. I loved the citrus colours of the outdoor furniture. The green, yellow and orange hues are right up my alley. The plants themselves were beautiful too; the traditional ferns and succulents were my favourite varieties but there was an entire range of luscious options.
