White Glass Splashback

Must-See: 5 Stunning Splashback Tiles.

I was asked by my sister-in-law recently to help her hunt down some killer splashback tiles for her outdoor kitchen area – and boy did I discover a world of splashbacks I never realised existed. It led me to create this post, which is a collection of my fave 5 splashbacks. Some of which, might I add, I’d love to put in other areas of the home!

White Glass Tiled Splashback

1. The white glass tiled splashback above makes a subtle statement. The tiles are reflective, so they bounce light around the space, and I think they add a chic element to the kitchen. I’ve also seen less structured versions of these, so if you’re not a fan of clean lines and texture’s your thing, you could go down that route for sure!

Splashbacks - Turquoise Glass

2. A solid colour splashback is a no brainer for lovers of hue and allows you to make your kitchen come to life. Splashbacks like the one above come in one piece, too, which means installation is a breeze and cleaning is even easier. I’m a big fan of this style, because it feels easy and effortless but still has major impact. What do you reckon?

Morrocan Inspired Tiled Splashback

3. Taking a trip to Morocco never came cheaper with this style of splashback. What I love about this mosaic patchwork style is that you have control over the tile placement and the number of patterns you want to introduce. It also has a gorgeous rustic feel to it, as well as a taste of the exotic without leaving your home! I want some of these tiles as coasters.

Kitchen Splashback - Pattern

4. I think this has to be my fave style of splashback tile. It’s bold, it’s graphic and it’s the definite focal point of the room. Made by Jatana Interiors, it feels wonderfully modern and chic. The tile comes to life in an industrial interior, giving the room edge without too much distracting colour. I am beyond smitten. I’d also love to have coasters in this pattern.

Rustic Raised Kitchen Splashback

5. The textured splashback above is so very at home in a rustic kitchen. It gives a nod to country without feeling too literal and conjures up a masculine aesthetic. I can see this across from a living room where the fire is burning. Rustic woods, iron baskets – it’s a winner! It’s made by Mandarin Stone and I’m a big fan of this look.
