Hanging with Team Typo at the Cotton On Open House
When I attended this week’s Cotton On Open House event, Mother Nature was again in fine form – beaming down some glorious golden rays (she’s been in such a good mood lately!). And when I use the term ‘open house’ I actually mean it; the event took place inside and on the lawn of a glorious home in Point Piper. It was all rather amazing. Not only did I star spot Didier Cohen and papp the lovely Lara Bingle, but I immersed myself in a tonne of Typo goodness!
While the outside was truly something (weren’t those hexagonal shadow boxes on the wall just dreamy?), indoors was where all the crafting action was going down. From washi tape to chalkboard paint to the mini polaroids you see below, there was a stack of new release items for me to ooh and ahh over. The standout had to be the cardboard moose heads, that you can completely customise using glitter, paint, tape, stamping and more (all available at Typo!).
The cushions you see above are also on the way to Typo stores. I love the dapper forest animal vibe they’re going for this Spring – and I cannot wait to grab some (both of the ones you see in this post would look great on my bed). All the stationery and crafting goodness you see here will be fully explained in a complete and dedicated Typo post – coming soon – I just wanted to give you a look in to this stunning event.
On the way out of the open house I also chatted with the gorgeous Lara Bingle and scored a photo with her. Winning! She told me she’s a homewares fan.
Are you into Typo and its stationery as much as I am? It’s my ultimate go-to destination whenever I want to package up a birthday present or grab something for my desk.
