Win a $150 Voucher from Kids Decor Brand Wiggles Piggles

Meet Kids Decor Brand Wiggles Piggles

There’s something about seeing gorgeous decor for nurseries that always makes me clucky. If that decor is wonderfully subdued in colour and has a sophisticated sense of whimsy, that just makes it all the more exciting.

The brand I want to introduce you to today stocks products that tick all the boxes when it comes to subdued tones, sophistication and whimsy. And better still, it’s a Melbourne biz with international brands on board, so you can support local all while stocking your kids rooms with global treasures.

The business I speak of is Wiggles Piggles, and its brands range from the iconic Bloomingville through to Poppies for Grace, Two Little Duckings, Babee & Me and loads more. It’s an absolute treasure trove you need to delve into, and it’s operated by local Creative Zoe Sullivan.

When I took time out this week to chat with the Melbourne mastermind, she tells me that Wiggles Piggles is a one woman show; one that she revels operating after years working a standard nine to five. Unhappy with her then-role, she purchased Wiggles Piggles last year and is living the challenges it brings.

“The business had been left dormant for quite some time when I took over, and stocked wall decals only,” Zoe tells me. “So I knew it would be a big challenge to shape it into what I wanted it to be, and it definitely has been, but I have not looked back since!”.

While I’m smitten for the Bloomingville range, Zoe tells me that the Done by Deer range, along with the We Might Be Tiny placemats are proving popular with customers. And despite not having children of her own, she explains that she (like myself) is surrounded by nieces, nephews, and the children of friends, who she can’t help but gift things to from her Wiggles Piggles online store.

“A good friend of mine had had a little boy last year, I had planned on giving him one of our Mister Fly Kids playmats for his first birthday but I couldn’t wait that long so I gave it to him at 6 months instead,” Zoe says. “At another friends Baby Shower recently, I gave her some of our Two Little Ducklings items – the Milestone Flip Book and Letters To Your Child. She adored both, and I love seeing the Flip Book pop on my social media news feed as my friend marks each month older her little girl gets”.

While the images in this post are fairly subdued in tone, there is a range of items for colours lovers too, which taps in nicely to Zoe’s love of bright hues.

“I actually love colour in children’s rooms. Colour to me screams fun which is what childhood should be all about. In saying that colour doesn’t have to be a permanent fixture, there are some amazing accessories that can do that for you – quilts, soft toys, wall prints or rugs to name a few”.

Whether you’re looking to stock your little one’s space in a monochromatic palette or you love brights and are eager to go wild with colour, why not enter the competition below, to score yourself a $150 Wiggles Piggles voucher!?

    Where do I start!
My little one is 6 months old next week so we would love the panda play and go mat for when we are out and about or the mini hedgehog plate and cup as she has just started using things like this.

My nephew Lachie would love this store (or perhaps I should say I would love buying him lots of the gorgeous items from Wiggles Piggles! lol) I especially love the Racoon Playmat from Mister Fly, because it’s completely adorable, and the kangaroo toy from T-Lab because we’re buying him wooden toys and it’s lovely to see an Australian animal in there!

As I sit in bed feeding my 10 week old baby girl at 4am, I’m very happy I stumbled across your blog and Wiggles Piggles! There are so many beautiful things, but what stands out to me the most is the Love Poster Print. “I love you more than all the stars” has been something that I’ve said to Ruby when she was in my belly and I still say it to her everyday. It’s part of our nighttime routine before I put her down to sleep too. It would be really special to have this print to hang above her cot and be a special reminder of how much her mummy loves her.

Le Toy Van Cake Stand Set is just perfect for teddy bear and doll tea parties; they really do look good enough to eat! And I love the Doctors Set for all those aches and pains that don’t go away with magic kisses. Finally the Done By Deer Suitcases Set in Raspberry/Powder would be lovely for putting away the small pieces that seem to accumulate on shelves and drawers, these really would put the ‘lid’ on unsightly mess!

Hi! I absolutely love so many things from Wiggles Piggles. But the Sketch Inc Nesting Dolls are gorgeous and would be special to me. I am partly of Russian descent and I remember my grandmother having a set of Russian nestling dolls. We always wanted to play with them however, they were more ornamental than child practical. The goodies from Wiggles Piggles on the other hand could be played with, Yay! It’s always a surprise to discover the next doll hidden in a set of nesting dolls. They make for a fun decorative piece when they are not being played with also.
