My favourite time of the year (Christmas aside, because we all know that cannot be beat) is the moment Life Instyle rolls around. There are two moments to celebrate, actually, because Life Instyle Sydney lands in Feb and then the Melbourne event comes later in the year.
If you’re not across what Life Instyle is, you’re truly missing out. This trade event brings the country’s top home and lifestyle brands together to showcase their creations across four glorious days.
You not only get a chance to preview new product lines before the major brands reveal them to the rest of the nation, but you also get to see the up-and-comers in the industry too – before they take the country by storm. That’s my fave part, actually; meeting local creatives – both new and established – and chatting to them about their products.
The Life Instyle Sydney 2017 event is not far off; it hits The Royal Hall of Industries & Hordern Pavilion Feb 16 to 19.
Tickets can be secured here.
If you want a glimpse into my fave brands who’ll be showcasing their products at Life Instyle Sydney 2017, then look no further; I’ve compiled a list of must-see businesses below.
The Best Brands at Life Instyle Sydney 2017
Blushing Confetti: I fell in love with this brand’s stationery collection years ago and the affair is still going strong. If you love colour and quirk, this contemporary and cheeky product range will be right up your alley! See more here.
Capra Designs: With the indoor plant trend still going strong, there’s no better way to display your greenery then in pots, hangers and vessels from these guys. And there’s some really unique display ideas on offer, too! See more here.
Clocksicle: Nothing gets me cluckier than phenomenal kids decor. The whimsical clock range by this local brand is sure to get you eager to redecorate your little ones space – and perhaps even display one on your own wall! See more from Clocksicle here.
Hammered Leatherworks: This WA design duo are the king and queen of leather, creating amazing homewares and fashion pieces like shelving, planters, hooks, vases and more. See their unique range here.
Hobbe Home: Mummas, you’ll lose your mind over the range of rocking chairs and ottomans from this local biz. Nursing your little one has never been so comfy (and stylish). See more from the divine Hobbe Home collection here.
Keep Resin: Alice Keep is the lovely lady behind this charming business, which produces the most stunning hand crafted resin homewares. A definite for vignette lovers who appreciate quality and enjoy a truly wonderful colour story. See more here.
Marmoset Found: Ceramics do not get more divine than the ones from Marmoset Found. I fell hard for these creations years ago when I first found them through the blog, and they just keep getting better and better. Explore the range here.
Olli Ella: When it comes to products for a little one’s room, you can’t go past Olli Ella. Their fair trade collection of belly baskets and other products is a dream for parents who want style, substance and storage all rolled into one. See more from them here.
One Another: I first met these guys at Life Instyle Sydney a few years back and was so impressed by their approach to helping women in developing countries make a living through their craft. This is ethical business at its best. See more from One Another here.
Sanctuary Studio: I remember featuring Sanctuary on the blog not long after they landed back in 2015, and since then their colourful bedding designs – created in collaboration with international artists – have only gotten better. See for yourself here.
Stoned Crystals: I never believed in the power of crystals very much, but then I got my hands on some from this brand and I’ve been converted. This is a feel-good business with stunning products; more of which you can see here.
The Dharma Door: This Byron Bay brand produces fair trade and sustainable homewares that are all about putting the maker first – honouring their crafts and traditions. I love that they’re making a global difference in this way. See more from them here.
Urbaani Homewares: This is another brand I first discovered at Life Instyle Sydney a few years back and I recall swooning over their Scandinavian homewares range, which is filled with style and quirk. Find out more about them here.
White Moose: Unconventional products are what these guys do, and they do them exceptionally well. I love their animal planters the most. They have a whole lot of other left-of-centre pieces you’ll fall in love with. See more here.
Zakkia: It’s all about raw materials for this homewares brand. Think marble, concrete, brass and more. The range is pretty varied but they all have one thing in common; a super chic aesthetic you’ll find hard to resist. Find out more here.
