The Life Creative Blog has Changed. Find out What’s New Here

The Life Creative blog has been helping readers decorate their homes for over three years (and it only feels like yesterday that I hit publish on the first post). As TLC approaches its fourth year, it’s going next level; not only helping you create your dream home (as it always has), but helping you live your best life, too!

A New Direction for The Life Creative Blog

The Life Creative Sign

I believe that great design can be truly  life changing. The room you wake up in, the space you spend your day in… everything in your home – from decor to lighting, to scent and texture – has a dramatic impact on how you approach your life and the people in it.

With that in mind, The Life Creative Blog will continue to teach you how to decorate, to inspire you to get creative, and to show you the latest and greatest products and services in all things ‘home’.

But now, we’re going to focus on the ‘life’ part of The Life Creative as well; sharing stories, having conversations about the big issues, and touching base with experts in the field as well as passionate contributors, who’ll discuss topics like health and wellness, baking, technology, and a whole host of lifestyle issues that touch and affect us on a regular basis.

Mums and Dads; you’ll also be delighted to know that there’s a dedicated kids and parenting section, not only showcasing awesome products and giving you tips on how to decorate for little spaces, but also discussing issues surrounding parenting and everything that comes along with it.

Of course, I can’t do it all on my own, which is why I’ve brought on some amazing and passionate contributors to share their stories. You can click here to jump over to the contributor page and meet them, but it’s safe to say that I’m so very excited to have each and every one of them taking part in this new journey. And if you too wish to contribute a story, please feel free to reach out via the contact page.

I really believe that this new direction for The Life Creative blog is going to be amazing. It’s everything you got on the old blog, but more. More stories, more heart, more soul, more life! Because having a home that looks amazing is one thing (and you know I’m all for that), but having a life you love is another. This blog aims to help you with both, and I hope you’ll join the conversation and take part.

A New Look and New Feel

In terms of look and feel, the site and logo is different too, you’ll notice. This was long overdue and I’m so pleased with the new vibe. It’s not only bright and optimistic, but the website is now broken up into sections, so you can find your preferred topic (whether it’s home style, home help, crafting etc) and read the latest stories that appeal to you.

The blog will also be updated daily – so there’s always something to see, experience, learn about or talk about – every day of the week!

I cannot thank you enough for your support over the last 3+ years, and I hope you embrace The Life Creative blog’s new direction, the new contributors and the new stories. Please feel free to stay connected via social media (Facebook here and Instagram here), and if you’re keen on receiving The Life Creative’s new quote art series (that you can print out and stick on your mood board), click here.

Here’s to creating your dream home and living your best life, and thank you again for being a part of this!
