The team from Metricon and I are very excited to host an exciting Greek Easter event this March.
It’s all thanks to special guest Alex Xinis, head chef from Hellenic Republic Kew. Alex will heat up the Metricon Smeg kitchen in an exciting cooking demonstration, showing you how to make some delicious Greek Easter dishes with a modern twist.
Join us on Wednesday 23 March at Metricon’s HQ in Mt Waverley, at your choice of the 6pm session or the 7:30pm session.
This is an intimate culinary experience that aims to inspire you to get cooking at home. Or at the very least get you thinking about how you can make this Easter an even better one.
Easter is the most important holiday in the Greek Orthodox religion, where food plays a starring role. So come along and immerse yourself in some of the tasty traditions!
Hellenic Republic’s philosophy is keeping things simple, using the best fresh and seasonal produce sourced both locally and from Greece. This philosophy will be brought to life during the masterclass, where you’ll get to taste the food as well as ask questions of Alex on the night.
Not only do you get to dig into the delicious fare and enjoy refreshments during the demo, but everyone will receive an exclusive goodie bag, featuring a signed copy of George Calombaris’ latest cookbook, Greek.
