Deborah Hutton is so much more than a well-known media personality. She’s also a TV presenter, former mag editor and designer of her own homewares range. Oh, and let me not forget to mention her hugely popular website, Balance by Deborah Hutton.
Who better to turn to for advice on making entertaining at home a breeze than this lovely lady?
Deb’s new book, Entertaining Made Easy, is the secret to making summer soirees a breeze. But of course, this book is set to be your best friend as each new season rolls around. It’s packed with recipes, cocktails, table setting ideas, theme inspiration and even included a section on party etiquette – all designed to take the hassle out of having friends of family over.
“I hear people say, ‘I don’t have the time’, or, ‘I can’t cook and it’s too hard’, but this guide is guaranteed to make at-home entertaining easy and will hopefully go a long way to reigniting people’s passion for entertaining at home,” Deborah explains.
The 240-page hardcover book combines more than 70 recipes in total, along with Deb’s personal favourites that she’s collected over the years.
“It’s all you need to know when it comes to being the host with the most,” she adds.
I’m going to pop this book on my Christmas wishlist, because if it’s one thing I struggle with, it’s entertaining. I do love to style, and decorating is my thing, but the timing and logistics that goes into preparing meals for other people always give me frown lines I just don’t need.
Entertaining Made Easy with Deborah Hutton ($39.99 RRP) is available from all leading book outlets and online at magshop.com.au from 1 November.
