Reno Rumble 2016: Colin and Justin set to Judge the Revamped Competition

Have you been yearning for the return of reno and home makeover shows? Yearn no more. Reno Rumble 2016 is landing soon and TLC has the goss on the new season.

Reno Rumble 2016 Reno Rumble season two contestants on TLC Interiors

The biggest difference in Reno Rumble season two is that unlike last year, everyday Aussies are taking part in the competition, not former Blockheads or House Rules stars.

Reno Rumble 2016 follows six new couples from across Australia, who’ll renovate two houses every week for deserving Aussie homeowners.

The couples will be split into two teams with NSW, QLD and Victoria taking on couples from South Australia and Western Australia, in the battle of the East versus the West.

The teams will hit the road and travel to the suburbs of Melbourne to renovate two houses every week. Nominated by a Good Samaritan, these inspirational homeowners will have their dreams turned into reality as the teams from East and West transform their rundown residence into a stunning abode.

At the end of each week the couple with the lowest score on the losing team will be eliminated until only one couple is left standing to collect the $100,000 winner’s cheque.

Shelley Craft will join host Scott Cam this season to help guide the contestants along their journey and ensure the homeowners’ hopes are fulfilled.

The finished product will be judged by internationally renowned interior design experts, Scottish duo ColinMcAllister and Justin Ryan. The pair have a global following of devoted fans and have featured on TLC Interiors before (check out their stunning kitchen makeover here).

Colin and Justin they will bring their famous “tell it like it is” attitude and expert advice for the contestants and viewers to the Reno Rumble camp.

Channel 9 tells me that there’s plenty of twists and surprises along the way for Reno Rumble 2016.

Reno Rumble, East vs West is back soon on Channel 9.

I am stoked at the new changes. I wanted different judges to the Block. We needed that. I am a huge Block fan, this shouldn’t feel like an extension. I am happy to see fresh faces too. 🙂

Colin and Justin will be great for the show. Would of been more exciting to see new hosts in place of annoying Shelley and Scott.
