KMart launches game-changing new home range
There’s simply no denying that KMart has upped its game. It started with awesome bedding, then super-affordable homewares and now they’re releasing mind-blowing outdoor furniture and a range of other must-haves for the home. The copper baskets are a clear standout. We even secured one for the TLC Studio this Friday just gone and it looks stellar.
Steve Cordony says coming out was life changing
D’Marge spoke to Belle stylist Steve Cordony this week about his design inspiration, how to create the perfect room and what his most life-changing moment was to date. Steve told the men’s style website, “Coming out was the point when I felt the most comfortable in myself. I finally felt like I knew who I was and where I was headed”.
Country Road’s Spring collection is predictably Stunning
We always go a bit batty over Country Road’s new homewares releases, but the latest batch to hit the website for Spring features some of their best work yet. Copper, oak and stoneware look to be the top three materials in the Aussie brand’s new collection, with the Graphite Cutlery Set the clear standout. It’s priced at $199, but there are far cheaper items on offer.
Zuster wants you to Join the Dark Side
Like we need any convincing! Zuster’s new Halo furniture range is the brand’s most luxurious to date, and was inspired by a high-end restaurant dining experience. The collection is all about mixing different textures and embracing the magnificent colours of Italian Quartzite, from the deepest of the Sapphire blue to the pale perfection of the Palamino marble.
Check out local design talent at the Supa Centa
Worshopped 2015 celebrated its 15th instalment this week at Supa Centa Moore Park. It showcases emerging Australian design talent who put forward prototypes of their new designs across various categories, from furniture to lighting and beyond. It’s now open to the public and will extend for a period of three weeks until Sunday,23 August at the Supa Centa, Moore Park.
