Like many of you, I've long had an infatuation with Adore Home magazine. It's bold, it's bright and it's delightfully glossy. I'm a bit like a kid at a birthday party after too many red frogs over the news that the new Adore Book is finally here. And today, I have a sneak peek inside!
As interiors legend Karen McCartney celebrates the new edition of her book 50/60/70 Iconic Australian Houses hitting stores, I caught up with her to find out exactly what it is that makes a house iconic - and why she's smitten with Aussie homes.
In the intro of her book, Home, crafting mastermind Beci Orpin declares "the homes I like the most are not the ones that are uber clean and styled to the hilt". It's this statement that sums up the ethos of her latest release - and a styling preference I also share. What unfolds in the pages after is nothing short of charming!
It's safe to say that nothing will keep me away from my love of styling. When I was offered the chance to attend the Temple & Webster styling workshop at the International School of Colour and Design on Saturday, not even the wet and wild Sydney weather could hold me back. Not only did I walk away with the tools to complete my living room look, but I got to meet Temple & Webster superstar (and my personal interiors icons) Karen McCartney. Cue the crazy fan moment!
